We need posters like Baba and Mimi around with the amount of French lads we're signing at the moment.

Speaking of which does M'Bengue's contract expire in the summer?

That might be an idea actually, Jonas would offer Simpson some much needed protection.

Bah, I'd really like to see Jonas and Marveaux in the same side.
  5. Now the window's done and dusted we need to work on getting this dreamy man a shiny new contract.

What a load of absolute trash.
  7. The guy who chipped in the 3rd most goals last season for your squad despite only playing 28 games is holding you back..... Accommodating him ruins our balance, shape and play. And his legs are going so his one attribute apart from the goals, the work rate to 'defend from the front' and get in peoples faces, is also diminishing. I love the fella. His attitude, goals and commitment have been great but I think he's getting past it now. Would it be worth your while playing him as a striker?

Daft question, but what were people expecting them to say?
  9. They've signed some absolute sack this window mind.

What absolute donkey w***. Care to elaborate then? Im sorry but I refuse to praise the lord that we have such an excellent manager. He doesnt deserve it, nor does the muppets who hired him. Bunch of c***s Who called him excellent? He's an average manger that's done a decent job since his appointment. This season we haven't played well but did you really expect us to be looking in tip-top shape follwoing the pre-season we had? The main thing is we've achieved three good results and the manager must take credit for that. Even if you reject this argument, is there anyonne around who would/could do a better job?

    What absolute donkey wank.

    Bryan Ruiz

I wouldn't say easily, he's not an out and out striker. Still a very good player mind.
  13. Based on what? Based on we like selling our best players? After a contract wrangle which granted the board were responsible for, hence we I could see Colo going. There's only Carroll that's been sold for a substantial fee.
  14. Any word on if/when it will be put back?

I think it goes a bit deeper than that Ian, doesn't it? The fact he was lined up for yonks beforehand and has a history with the two stooges doesn't aid your point. Nor does it help that if it was a Manager with no links or an ounce of integrity they would have f***ed off by now. The best we can hope for? Perhaps. Sad none the less, don't you think? Well bearing in mind that he's working under conditions that some managers couldn't, I think he's a good option for us. I genuinely like him as a guy and think he always goes out to win and tries his best. The fact he was lined up for ages reflects badly on most of the people involved, seems worse because Hughton was a nice guy who didn't deserve that treatment. But from Pardews point of view I can see that he couldn't turn down such a good opportunity. But I don't agree he should walk away, and I f***ing hope he doesn't for our sake. If he did (which he won't because he's too strong a character to walk away) he'd suddenly become a champion to many of those who'd previously criticised him. A bit like it was with Hughton. Ludicrous really. Quit SJP and become a hero No wonder Barton and Nolan left, maybe they were onto something. I'd rather he remains a villan than become a martyr, leaving us up shit creek without a paddle. Bigger pciture and all that.
  16. Well you would say that wouldn't you, since every f***ing post you make is an apology for the fuckwits running the club. No offence intended of course you spastic. Tears before bedtime?
  17. My two pennies worth... I'm not at all impressed with the ambition we've shown this window. We've had a substantial amount banked from January with a promise of re-investment and we've barely seen a wrapper of it. This is before you touch on the failure to sign a second striker and the apparent bullying of clubs that has culminated in two of them reporting us to the footballing authorities. Deceitful, underhand behaviour. However it's not all that bad. We've signed some real quality. Cabaye, Marveaux and Ba in particular should go a long way in improving the squad we finished with last term, we've also brought in Obertan and Santon, two promising young lads. Overall I think we have improved on last season’s squad, despite losing both Nolan, Barton and Enrique, even if they do take some time to gel together. Some of these lads have heavily contributed to a promising start to the season including a point against a full strength Arsenal and a win away to our local rivals, not bad going at all. While Ashley and Llambias are at the helm they’ll penny-pinch until the club is running off its own profit or the fat man finally sells up. They also behave like a pair of spineless shitbags, but then we already knew this. Despite the disappointment deadline day has brought I think there are some real positives to take from this window and I see no reason why we can't go on to establish ourselves in the top half of the table. Things aren't great, but they could be a hell of a lot worse.
  18. Ba doesn't have a particularly bad history of injury, he had an infected knee following an operation which has frightened some clubs off. Frankly Ben Arfa has just been damn unlucky, granted Marveaux has had diffiuclties.
  19. When we sign a bunch of crocks who were free because they were a bunch of crocks, Im inclined to disagree. Who are these crocks?
  20. What's new? Indeed, who'd have thought most would be unhappy when we've a net spend of money this year. Fickle bastards. Aye that's understandable. Going onto whinge about our opening set of results and incoming buisness is something else entirely when they are positive aspects of the summer.
  21. Not particularly impressed with Arsenal's buisness this summer.
