  1. Knew this was coming They'll go on to win this
  2. Alisson gets away with that, don't think it's a foul
  3. City not taking advantage and scoring a second Liverpool equaliser will be coming soon
  4. Errr, less convinced but still see them scoring If they get the next goal I still fancy them to go on and win it Obviously hope I'm wrong
  5. TAA has defended really well against Doku
  6. Your post prompted me to have a look further into it, this link gives a bit more detail on it https://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/scmp.php The following pretty much confirms it is limitless if a wealthy owner wants to pump money in.
  7. He said if based on the previous seasons revenue there is a shortfall of cash owners have to put in the money there and then to show they can afford to sign players otherwise they will be stopped Now I don't know if that means there is no limit as to what they can spend or whether they have a limit but they still need to put the funds in at the start of the season I suppose his main point was, that the funding needs to be there to buy the players, I presume that is instead of relying on credit etc
  8. I am aware of Everton, they knew they were going to be running close so were in dialogue, I am saying all clubs should be in a constant dialogue with live accounting reporting, so it doesn't require self reporting and there are no shocks
  9. Tbf the Premier League (the independent panel) are in a very difficult position when it comes to punishments, they are probably going to get criticised whatever the outcome If it was 3 points the clubs around them kick off, if it's 9 like it is then those that want to see City/Chelsea punished feel it's harsh This isn't a situation where you can easily assign an outcome, saying for example for every £5m loss over the limit = 2 points, that just wouldn't work or be viable Listening to Neville on the overlap, the one thing he said I really agree with is life reporting, clubs should be able to at the end of the season know where they are at and what they can spend coming up
  10. Plus to add to it they have been in communication with the Premier League throughout, they were repeatedly told they needed to get their finances in order but they continued spending and ultimately being reckless has come back to bite them It seems that some people are also saying the loss is only £19m, it's actually way more than that but the mitigating factors (such as Covid) reduced it but they were still over the limit Part of their mitigation is that Spurs knew they were in financial trouble so drove a hard bargain and got Richarlison for £20m less than his value of "£80m", which is utterly ludicrous I don't care for FFP/PSR but if the rules are in place then they need to be followed and Everton failed to do so despite repeated warnings The Everton ownership/management only have themselves to blame but I do have sympathy for the fans and also can understand the fans feel hard done by as they are the first club to be done for breaching these rules but someone has to be the first
  11. He's not only a shit manager and a shit person, he's an absolute liar. He was sacked 2 years ago so he didn't have Sean almost 5 years ago. He had him 4 years ago and had him for 2 years and did nowt to help him. The waste of space can't even make the connection that Longstaff was good before him and has been good after him. No idea where he's made these comments but it's frustrating that no one challenges him on it.
  12. Don't you know old money is not evil, only new money Reading them talk about the EFL being proper football and not ruined by money, they have absolute zero awareness of the role their club (along with Man-U, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton) played in breaking away from the football league because of greed I have no desire to sign up to RAWK but someone needs to educate them on their history
  13. In that case we won't be signing him Not sure why anyone would be bothered if we loan a player from a Saudi club. If it happens it will be because both the club and player want it to happen
  14. Who is to say Neves isn't unsettled and wants to come back to the Premier League?
  15. I stand corrected on that one but point still remains, it's not uncommon and it's not against the rules
  16. It's not uncommon for parent clubs to still cover the bulk of wages for players on high wages that are loaned out You think Sevilla were paying the full whack for Martial?
  17. The ref has fallen for De Paul's theatrics Never a red card
  18. Fair point Just hope Bruno/Joelinton come out of it unscathed
  19. Cheeky doylems have short memories They were one of the major clubs that pushed to leave the EFL and form the PL all because they wanted more money (Ironically Everton were part of that too) They created the beast that is the Premier League, which was about greed and money and are now upset the chickens are coming home to roost They can shove their moralising because it's utter bollocks coming from them
  20. I'd be shocked if both teams keep 11 players on the pitch
