Bournemouth gets away with that, was a howler
-
Iwobi makes it 3-1 and game over

He's on a decent wage so even letting him go for nowt has to be beneficial, whatever has gone on has messed with him and he's in no state to contribute It's a shame it's ending like this because overall he's been one hell of a signing for us and his role in getting us out of the crap when he joined can't be underestimated
-
I agree with this but the only aspect I think that is crucial is if Howe prefers player X from the list whilst Mitchell prefers player Y then it should be Howe with that final say and I think that is how it works I just think the suggestion from some that Howe have next to no involvement is absurd and not likely to ever happen, be that with Howe or whoever the next manager is (That's not me wanting Howe out btw, there will at some point be a next manager)

Don't think you can, not sure any of the clubs operate that way (except maybe Real Madrid where Perez just signs who he wants) Even Klopp with the Salah scenario, although it wasn't his preferred choice he listened to what the data people were saying and agreed to it Any other way is problematic

Even if they spend and hit the ground running they are relying on Liverpool to lose 4 games just to get ahead of them, plus that assumes City won't drop any more points, which they clearly will so you are probably in a situation where Liverpool can afford to lose 6-7 games and still be fine City are in a top 4 battle, they know the league is done

Well a squad player to Man U right now is £85m Antony

I enjoyed it in the 90's but that's more because that's when I grew up as well as us competing for the title for a few years I disliked it during the Ashley years so much prefer it now to then but dislike it now because of how shit FFP/PSR and all those bollocks have made it And it's Liverpool/Man U/Arsenal that have pushed for those rules and made football about spreadsheets and accountancy jargon
-
It depends on when you start looking at things, Liverpool got big investment, it was just a long time ago so the amounts of money seem insignificant but they got money pumped in, there just wasn't any rules in place and that's what allowed them to become a "real" football club, same for Arsenal and the same for Man U. I find this idea that they are somehow these organic football clubs quite laughable, all had big investments which allowed them to become "real" football clubs and build their success on the back of it. At least Man City don't pretend, they are what they are because of money being pumped in. Those "real" clubs are no different but they pretend otherwise and the real nauseating bit is they are the ones that are stopping others from having a chance. The very Premier League you really respected and admired was created on the back of the greed of Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal.

There's not a chance the club will sign players without the final say from Howe, they may as well sack him if they do that Howe will have final say and rightly so but much like Klopp listened to Edwards when it came to the signing of Salah then Howe needs to do the same As it happens I don't think we'll do much in January and if the reason for that is it allows us to have a bigger summer then I'm all for it
-
Are you okay? You do know people are allowed to think differently to you Liverpool winning isn't an issue for you but for those that it is there will be reasons for it, reasons which aren't any more or less valid than yours I don't mind Liverpool winning it now so much since Klopp has left but the role that club has played in keeping us down is a factor for the dislike, plus knowing arrogant and obnoxious Liverpool fans in real life is a factor too

An ineffective left winger? Sure, that's exactly what we are crying out for
-
Not sure spending lots of money can be equated to doping in cycling but it is a funny image nonetheless
-
In the unlikely event they drop that many points I think it ends up being Arsenal the winners, which means Arteta winning it
-
Make your peace with it, they will be walking to the title I'm just glad Klopp isn't there for it
-
I don't drink so wish me well
-
I have Diaz and Salah in FPL so some points on the way here
-
Can't really blame the keeper for that, that's on the defenders
-
Pen to Liverpool
-
We don't do shots either, what a fun evening Wednesday will be
-
City can keep trying crosses all day long but Van Dijk will eat those up for fun
-
He's been so poor, especially this half, keeps losing the ball and it doesn't help how weak he is In time he might be a good player but he easily gets bullied
-
Last few times he's came on he hasn't looked remotely fit, just wanders around so I understand why he isn't coming on just yet
-
Doku runs it out of play, there's a shock He's a poundland Maxi
-
Oh wow, how did Salah miss that?
