  1. I'd love to see this formation but not Big Joe as the 10, he's technically not good enough to consistently thrive in that position I'd probably be more inclined to push Bruno forward but medium to long term we really need to be signing a no 10
  2. Who did he rush back for them to get injured only a few minutes on the pitch? (Please don't say Murphy)
  3. Maybe my memory isn't great but didn't his in game ideas turn the game around in our favour against Forest?
  4. In the league Rodri only started one game though, which was the Arsenal game he picked up the injury. He didn't start any of the league games prior He's obviously a huge miss, when someone is that good it's inevitable but I just think it's coincided with other players being injured and then players being massively out of form (Foden, Haaland not being as clinical as he usually is, Bernardo Silva) and they don't have decent back ups to call upon as their transfers of late has been poor. In addition maybe hunger is a factor, going again and again is not easy This season will be a struggle for them but they'll probably look at it as a season of consolidation, just finish top 4, maybe go deep in CL/FA Cup and then rebuild in the summer
  5. Some old post of yours will be dug out from months ago and you'll be accused of having a short attention span The reality is City are an absolute mess They'll lose to Liverpool in the league, absolutely no doubts about it
  6. I do think long term he needs to push to get a proper 10 and tweak the midfield to support such a player

    Joe Willock

But he isn't technically good enough to be a high level no 10 Though, he does possess qualities which make him an asset for us. Though he was poor today, he does offer a lot when he plays that LCM role I'd love for us to sign a proper no 10, like a Maddison, Odegaard or Paqueta, someone who is technically of a high level
  8. He's not the only one that's been poor but Longstaff has been spectacularly poor Such a frustrating half to watch
  9. Man U were average today but that's no reflection on Amorim, he's only been in the job 2 minutes We saw it took Howe a while to rid the stench of Bruce, this will take time too Obviously there's no guarantee Amorim will manage to do that but it's only fair to judge him later down the line He's quite fortunate the Premier League is so compact that he can afford to take his time and will not necessarily need to put massive winning runs together to move up the table Though I do hope it ends in failure and he ends up being out of his depth
  10. Big deflection but still a canny strike
  11. Ipswich deserved that, been the better side by some distance
  12. Oh look, Liverpool are winning a game most predicted them to win
  13. Nah, Southampton, he just went to Chelsea but only lasted a few months before going back
  14. Southampton their own worst enemy Both goals they conceded were just daft
  15. That's the kind of goal Liverpool would score, nice to see them on the receiving end
  16. Obviously he's a bit older now but he left Chelsea after a short stint because he was homesick
  17. Remember him from the time he scored a hat trick of identical goals against us at SJP for the U23's (was just 15 or 16 at the time)
  18. Final ball was poor but that was some decent play from Dibling
  19. Liverpool fans reckon Michael Oliver is on the City pay roll so they'll be raging if he doesn't overturn this
  20. Good finish from Szoboszlai but what on earth were Southampton thinking
