Yeah, but surely there’s no chance that Howe actually wants that?I hope we doesn't want that but Burn starting today when Livramento was available was strange to me

That wouldn't be solely down to Howe as he's not in charge of recruitment. I'd place more responsibility on Ashworth but even then I don't know how true that would be as the owners are quite hands on.
Agreed
I guess it's difficult to predict what next season looks like but if he's picking Burn when Livramento is on the bench then that's on him
And when it comes to Miggy he needs to be making it clear to the club he needs a RW and that Miggy can be sold

I've tried to defend the lad but he was poor today. Zero end product, killed off any promising move with his poor touch and bad decision making.
Tbf apart from that purple patch of his he has very little end product
6 assists in 137 starts
23 goals in 137 starts
If we discount last season in terms of goals and it's 12 goals in 108 starts
He runs around a lot and helps out defensively, no one can deny that but overall his end product is shocking and it's not like he isn't getting into good positions, he gets there and consistently he's making the wrong choice or the execution is terrible

Howe has enough credit in the bank to be allowed to have a dodgy season and at the moment I wouldn't quite describe it as a dodgy season but it feels like it is heading that way
This recent run has been poor and he rightly should be questioned/criticised for decisions made
I've said it recently and it's even more true after today but he really needs to be ruthless, if next season the likes of Burn/Miggy are starting then he only has himself to blame and that is what will be his downfall
-
Was thinking in that first half that he was playing well but then he was awful for the 2 goals in the second half (Obviously he wasn't the main player at fault but his role can't be downplayed)

I get the feeling we won't do much
Our players will start to come back and they'll see that top 4 is highly unlikely so just wait for the summer to do our business

Burn, Longstaff and Miggy have been honking

Need Joelinton on for Longstaff
-
Forest all over us

Forest attack from their box...and the cunts blame only Almiron
He's not the only one to blame but it starts from his dumb pass
The guy is consistently poor with his decisions
-
Miggy you absolute donkey
-
Will Longstaff ever stop doing the just fall over trick which never works
-
Elanga looks dangerous, on a few occasions Burn has looked lost
-
Miggy already annoying me with his decision making and execution
-
They'll not want the 11 mins now, lol

Reminder, even if we only win our next 4 home games we'll be in the same position (points wise) as we were last season.
Wins and losses seem to feel worse than draws, but if we can push through this bad spell by leaning on our home form, then getting players back, stopping the rot away, then putting a run together, another 70ish point season isn't off the table.
Been checking this on my phone so working out could be wrong like
But that would have us on 41 points after 25 games
Last season after 25 games we were on 44 points, so 3 points worse, still not bad considering
-
That was some counter from Liverpool, should have scored

This is the most worrying stat and only 1 assist this season. Diaby who we tracked for so long has 5 this season already and I believe he has been injured for part of that.
Neto has 7 and he's missed a chunk of the season
Players like Almiron, Burn etc have been good for us but we really have to start being ruthless

Miggy doesnt get enough goals . Mind you neither does Bruno or Longstaff
I could tolerate the lack of goals if he got enough assists but he doesn't get those either, only managed 6 in his entire Premier Leaugue career

Shame Klopp didn't pick up an injury
-
Great pass from Trent and class from Salah

Should have been Longstaff
Agreed, he's been utterly useless

That pass was class

There's the equaliser and still time for a winner
Sheff Utd really are trash like, they just lose their shit at this time of the game

Today was particularly bad
That trick of his, when he just falls over and gormlessly looks at the ref waiting a free kick is beyond infuriating, I call it a trick but that suggests it works when it just fails and gets us into trouble
