  1. And how could the ref give a corner on the situation after that? Aye - that decision was worse than the pass from Cattermole, shocking decision
  2. at 2:32 that pass from Cattermole :mackems:
  3. I don't think Long is better than Best so money + Best would be a daft deal
  4. Which would be a good thing BUT if that is the case then surely the club should tell us that is where some of the money is going
  5. :mackems: :mackems: So Carroll was supposedly on £20k a week, Nolan £40k-50k, Fat Sol £30k and Kuqi what about £500? so that's around £100k a week in total Tiote's new deal, Cabaye, Marveux and Ba are all going to be on between £50k-£60k a week at a guess. Don't think it is a valid answer from AP about the £35m being spent, but he is probably right about the wage bill. I would be surprised if Cabaye or Marveaux are on that much Ba is supposedly on a heavily incentivised contract with a low basic wage Also Sol would be on more than that The wage bill probably has increased BUT I doubt it has by much - at least not enough to come out and use it as an excuse for the lack of spending why would you be surprised if Cabaye and Marveaux were on that much? Cabaye, one of the things in the french press when he signed that he was on a much higher wage with us than he was with Lille and Marveaux was a free transfer, they always lend themselves to larger wages so 50 even 60k is hardly impossible for them I think it was suggested somewhere that Cabaye would be getting around £30k, which is still significantly more than what he was earning in France End of the day who knows the true figures, I just find it hard to believe that the wages have increased by some distance Though having said that not sure why that should be taken out of the transfer fee, our turnover has increased so naturally an increase in wages should be accommodated BUT as we have clearly seen with this regime a lot of ambiguous statements are released and they are clouding the figures to make it seem like all of the money has gone

  7. :mackems: :mackems: To be fair he didn't say it was a large distance. No need to be fair to him, he is a lying cunt The wage bill won't have gone up that much, no way. He is just peddling lies for the fat controller

  9. :mackems: Lets not forget Demba Ba who is a MOZLEM
  10. I reckon a stint on loan would do him the world of good
  11. Sadly you are right The mongs in charge probably think they could get another Tiote for £3.5million, though as we can clearly see a top defensive midfielder is a rarity - moreso when you are lumbered with Alan fucking Smith
  12. Even for £35 million? I doubt we would get £35million for him - for that price I would consider it (though it would be on the same basis as the Carroll deal, it gets reinvested fully in the team and not on fancy showers and toilets at the training ground)
  13. Selling Tiote would be worse than selling Carroll
  14. Also I think they were bitching about some Sky Atlantic advert where there is a shot of the River Tyne
  15. Also who is this mag that is in charge of sky that is intentionally sidelining the Penywell Galacticos?
  16. Aye it sounds very hollow - I bet their faces are filled with "horror" They have been jizzing over their signings and I am sure they had a thread recently where they were excited that talksport and ssn were going on about them BUT this lack of interest from Sky has surely hurt them
  17. "Cancelled Sky" http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=608018 and "Don't let Sky get away with it..." http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=608037 :mackems:

    Gervinho

Hope Enrique is still here to shackle him. He would just go to the other side and face Simpson
  19. Hope we at least put in a decent sell on clause Good luck to him - if he gets his head right he can go far and I reckon in a few years time we will regret letting him go this easily
  20. They actually have a 59 page thread on our move for Erding - wow
  21. certainly is interesting I agree with the blog that if Ashley is indeed taking some money from the club and reducing his debts then it is ultimately a good thing BUT why not just tell it to us straight
  22. He is going to Stoke isn't he? Can't think who else it can be - maybe Sears
