Why couldn't City play this shite against us

Rain needs to piss off like.
Sadly it's not going anywhere

Sheff Utd have done well, limited City to a couple of chances, wouldn't be surprised if they nick a point here
-
Yeah, pretty definite penalty, even Egan knew he messed up

Doesn’t really matter, presumably everyone has him as captain. In a league I'm in my nephew captained Rashford instead so that is a costly miss

I brought Haaland into FPL this week, I take responsibility for his penalty miss

I don't see PSG mentioned which I find strange.
They are briefly mentioned in the article
"It’s likely there has been a complaint about City and Newcastle from La Liga now that the FSR is up and running. La Liga president Javier Tebas has long been a critic of what he calls ‘state-funded clubs’ including City.
La Liga declined to comment, although they confirmed recently they had made a formal complaint to the EC about state aid unfairly helping Paris Saint-Germain, who are in effect owned and funded by the government of Qatar."

Would be ironic if the complaint came from La Liga, Real Madrid and Barca have been amongst the worst offenders over the years when it comes to chucking money about

Has started the season so so well, but think this teams main man is still Vini, but both him and Rodrygo are going to have to adapt to their new roles as a pair upfront. Bellingham does offer something different in this #10 role. So composed for a young guy. Exteemely exciting if these three and potentially Mbappé end up together. It will be interesting to see how they line up
Mbappe loves playing off the left and is at his best playing there, which is where Vini plays
Obviously Mbappe is good enough to play centrally but not sure you get the maximum out of him by doing that

Miley, Anderson, Longstaff and either Dummett or the keeper.
I assume Miley would be named in List B anyway, maybe same for Anderson
Though, I guess it makes no difference if we name them in List A, just means there will be players in the PL squad that won't make the CL squad
-
The likelihood is for CL we will not end up naming a full 25 squad due to not having 4 club trained players
Any idea what the PL squad looks like, is there space for another signing? Or are we maxed out unless we ditch someone?
Guess the luxury of Livramento (for tbis season) and Hall (for 3 more seasons) is they don't take up a PL squad space
-
I wouldn't be surprised if they try and sell him to a club abroad
-
That roll with the studs is something he does a lot, his goal away to Norwich he did that exact control
He just snatched at the shot and got it wrong, had nothing to do with the control

Honestly, I think he just has a very punchable face.
He's not complaining, he's demanding, he's being a captain, but he just looks like a whingey bastard.
He's the most well liked player in our squad. Everyone loves him.
Howay, he doesn't just look like a whingey bastard, he is a whingey bastard
Cut that part out and people would talk about the good player that he is

This is the one game I want to win more than any other, it's so annoying that they were the only team to do the double over us as well as the way in which we lost at Anfield
Plus the added factor of Klopp being a massive scumbag
Whilst I'm usually all for a fast start we have to be mindful with Liverpool, we started better in the home game but they scored with their first attack. We still created some decent chances even though most of the game was played with 10 men. I think a controlled start and avoiding conceding early would probably be the best approach
Though, no doubt once the game starts I'll be screaming for a 100mph start and just attack them
-
On the subject of league position, you ultimately finish where you deserved to finish however the devil can very much be in the detail
I find solely looking at league position doesn't always tell you the full story, goal difference is a big indicator and Man-U had a goal difference that was inferior to the team above them by 30 and then team below them by 20
It's not too dissimilar to when we finished 5th, our GD wasn't great and was more similar to a mid table side
That's not to say Man-U won't do well this season but they'll have to improve to do so, you don't tend to get back to back seasons where you have a lower GD and you maintain both that and the league position. Onana is quality but as a team they don't look comfortable playing out from the back, so that needs addressing and obviously they need their striker back asap because Rashford needs to be moved to the left
-
Doylem moment from Aguerd
Now they'll get bombarded for the final 30 mins

I can't help but feel we really missed a chance with not getting Diaby when the chance was there.
I don't think Diaby is the answer at thus moment in time
Yes, he's better than Miggy going forward but he doesn't offer the same defensive support and at the moment we need that
The final part of his game was off today but it's one game, that too against the best side in the league, I'm sure Miggy will be fine this season

Missed the Murph today tbh
Aye, reckon he would have came on for Miggy a lot earlier as it was clear his final pass/cross/shot wasn't it today
-
Dislocated shoulder?
-
Ffs, Schar already knackered
-
Spurs need a second goal while they are on top
-
Nice one, Man-U losing
-
Man-U have been the better team with the better chances
I'd take a 0-0

Grealish is very much a boring player now at City, guess he doesn't care considering what he's won
