City very sloppy, if Burnley had a bit more cutting edge they'd be level by now

Al Ahli playing now, fantastic atmosphere
Already 2-0, both calls for Firmino

I like Caicdeo, top player that will get better but £110m seems a bit mad and obviously ironic it's the club with low ceilings making that bid
No doubt Liverpool fans/pundits will spin this deal if it goes ahead, you'll see them refer to Caicedo/MacAllister as a combined £140m-150m and try to justify it that way

Enjoyed that. When's next episode due?
New episode is out each Friday

I enjoyed it, always like to see behind the scenes stuff.
Does seem like they've blitzed through the season, basically late Feb after episode one so will be interesting to see how they cover the next 3.

He's looked really lively, good movement, quick and picks up good spaces, it really is just the finishing that has let him down
If he can get one early in the season I think he then goes on to get 7+ however I can see it being an issue the longer he goes without (I'm aware he scored against Chelsea but last season soon gets forgotten about)
His biggest challenge is along with his finishing is making a certain spot his, is he for certain a LW or will he be RW, maybe an 8 in some games, whilst that versatility helps us as a team it can end up being a hindrance to his development

He's exactly what I expected
He's direct, quick and his finishing is very, very good

Their home record was poor last season so even a point here would be a good result

Geordie lad skinned him with ease

Big win for them psychologically ahead of the start of the season.
A limp loss would have been demoralising after last season especially.
I think it has absolutely zero relevance to the league
Liverpool won it last year and in better fashion, ultimately meant nothing
Don't get me wrong, don't blame them for being happy, just seems a bit over the top imo

Ipswich hit the bar from range, probably should have had a penalty as well
-
Arsenal fans do realise it's not a major trophy, right?
-
There was a long stoppage for a head injury
But aye not keen on these massively long additional minutes

Not sure if there is even a stat out there that tracks it but they tend to concede a lot of goals to former players or at least it feels that way

Yeah but you’re a Newcastle United fan and a bit of a blowhard. Whether you would or would not have signed it is completely irrelevant. The fact is, he did sign it. You can certainly speculate as to why, but he’s very much not an idiot.
I’m guessing that he was torn. He loves Spurs, but Man City was a fantastic opportunity. If we’d have kicked on after Poch he’d be laughing. We didn’t. Levy played hardball.
Signing the contract wasn't the issue, trusting Levy to honour his verbal agreement was moronic
He should have had the clause written into his contract

Canny header that
-
Awful attempt from Simms, should really be scoring
-
How much did Coventry pay for Simms? He's very clumsy
-
Didn't realise Mavididi signed for Leicester
Not that long ago he was being linked with us and a few other top PL clubs
-
Tbf to Onana he's not expecting his defenders to pass the ball to the opposition like that
-
Didn't watch it but according to the stats he created two chances? Were the stats being generous with that?

I get it's not really the main point you are making but their second eleven wouldn't win the league
Probably even struggle to get top 4
