Wtf is Roy Keane on about
Says Hojlund should have went down for a penalty "I'm not asking for him to cheat. He should kick the keeper"
Errr, cheating is exactly what you are asking him to do you dog fiddler
-
Header was poor from Haaland really
Still, Onana did very well
-
That's a soft penalty but also very stupid from Hojlund to do that
-
Man-U look decent on the counter, they'll get joy from that

You think Varane wouldn't be starting if he was fit?
You think we'd be playing a centre back at left back if Reguilon was fit?
Jesus.
When we've been losing games this season despite our entire back line being our injured for most of them, have the injuries been mentioned on here? Of course not.
It's been "Ten Hag is a fraud. Man United are awful." etc. But now that Newcastle have dropped a few points, it's the fault of the injuries. That's my point. It's hypocritical.
Injuries massively effect your ability to win. It's good you can all see that now. Really good to see.
You've been playing shit, that's a big difference
Though, I do think you'll get something from today

Yeah, I thought he was brilliant first half and then in the latter part of the second he was quite sloppy, where he was looking for the foul even though there was a passing option available
Overall though he's in really good form, just need him to maintain that after an average start to the season
-
Don't blame O'Neil, it was never a penalty
I'm just surprised VAR didn't actually tell the ref to look at it again

Fuck, looks like he’s after Reading.
Imagine your club is up for sale and the leading candidates to buy it are Mike Ashley and William Storey.

If those are the two options then it says a lot about the other guy that Ashley is the better option

The second goal could and should have been prevented despite the punch. He wasn’t the only one to blame.
The second goal had numerous errors
From Lascelles conceding a pointless free kick, to the Pope punch, the "defending" from our players that made a CB look like Messi, to Burn lunging in and no staying on his feet
It was a number of errors
What's frustrating is that we've drawn a game 2-2 in which the opposition didn't create a big chance

Don’t think they’re on the level as Villa and Brighton at doing that and we still have a strong defence.
As a team they aren't on that level but Cunha/Neto are very good at either getting into that space or driving through midfield and taking out a couple of players

Don’t think a point would be a bad result here.
I agree due to a combination of them being in decent form, us not having won there in ages, they have in Cunha, Neto two players that can exploit that space that Villa and Brighton have exploited and with us being very stretched
-
Some strike by Bellingham that, he's ridiculous
-
Norwich are shite so Sunderland should be winning with ease
-
I thought the keeper got the touch but rewatched it a few times since and it was Maupay that plays the pass
-
And that's that, Maupay almost ballsed that up
-
And again, though Mbuemo scored
The counter for the chance before was really good
-
Should have been 2 to Brentford there and game over

There's a lot of talk about empathy and support for an addict and I'm willing to give him that if he makes an apology because so far Tonali has only spoken about Tonali. If he's waiting for the ban hammer to land then fair enough, but at the moment there's been nothing publicly said about the club and fans from him.
When did he speak about himself?

I accept the point. Do we actually know if he bet on games with his involvement though? A 10 game ban would seem more than enough to me for a first offenceWe don't know what he's specifically bet on as there are conflicting reports out there but I would suspect a 10 month ban means he has bet on football, which is a massive no go
It's shit for us but he deserves the punishment
I'm just glad he's seemingly allowed to train, that would be too much of a punishment imo and counter productive

Best we could have hoped for but I’m just gutted for him.
I’d much prefer in these situations that there’s a hefty fine and then the player has to do all the rehabilitation and community service work. I don’t see why a ban from playing should be a punishment
There has to be a ban otherwise where is the deterrent?
If it was just illegal gambling then I wouldn't agree with a football ban but he's bet on football games and games in which he's involved, it's a clear violation of the rules
-
Being able to train and play in friendlies is significant. Back in time for next season, no excuse for him not to get fully immersed into the club and every tactical aspect of what Howe needs

Feels odd to write, but I thought he was both MOTM and also culpable for the goal that cost us the game.
He’s been fantastic this season, and doesn’t look out of place at this level.
Harsh to blame him for the goal
Thought he was pulled back initially but he carries on and it's a fantastic tackle by Schlotterbeck
They still had a bit to do and there was a lack of urgency from a few players
Attacking players will get tackled and lose the ball when trying to take players on, it's part and parcel
Overall I thought he was our best player and has been our best this season, he caused them all sorts of problems and should really have gotten an assist if Wilson took his chance
The one aspect of his game he could really work on is his finishing, it's clearly not natural to him but with the chance he got he needs to know low and going for the far corner is the best choice to make

Even if we wanted to I don't think we could really mass rotate, certainly not in the front 6 positions
