I understand last season was not a perfect solution, as someone that could log in on time I got to go to all the games I wanted to however what they have come up with is an absolute farce
Who on earth is possibly happy with this solution? Someone that is really well off and doesn't care where they sit? That can't be many people
Going to see if the club responds in the next few days, if not, then I'm just going to cancel my membership. I only really wanted to go to at least one CL game but not sure all this farce is worth it for that (Just have to hope I can maybe go via General Sale)

Absolutely no chance he goes on loan at the start of the season and rightly so
He's very much part of the squad and is arguably pushing for a start

Is Kane actually close to joining Bayern?
I thought he agreed a deal with them a while ago, the problem is doing a deal with Bayern and that doesn't appear to be close

He signed his professional contract with us back in May and only been described as a long term deal. It was the same for Anderson in September last year so you would think we're trying to tie them down for at least 4-5 years.
Is there rule not that at 17 the maximum you can sign for is 3 years? At least it used to be
So I suspect as soon as he turns 18 we'll be looking to get him on a long term deal then
-
Lush pass that was

Get in, Anderson again

Filthy from Miley in that move, Parkinson should have scored
-
Ashby having a decent game so far

am I understanding it wrongly, or could they actually free up FFP cap by giving him a new deal and spreading the payments out more etc?
It would spread out the payment
Currently he's costing £8.8m per year, he signed a 4.5 year contract which means he has 3 years left with a total value of £26m, if we do nowt then that remains £8.8m per year
If he signs a new 5 year contract then that would be £5.3m per year

Our best player today
Considering he was playing in a position that's not his natural position he was superb, looks so assured on the ball
Think there is very little chance he gets sent out on loan, he's very much part of the squad and he'll get enough minutes across the season
-
Impressed with him
Thought he was relatively quick, strong and comfortable in possession, was also willing to get forward
Be interesting to see if he's sent on loan or kept around the squad
-
Miley our best player by some distance
Thought Tonali was off it first half but the switch at half time helped him, was better in the second half
Was also impressed with Alex Murphy, seems relatively quick and also comfortable in possession
Pope was lush, he's levels above Dubravka

What a save by Pope

Joelinton's been quietly class agian.
I think he's been fairly average, especially knowing how class he can be

Miley easily the standout for us so far

That was too easy for them, canny enough finish

He won that award for a youth tournament somewhere right? Possibly Hong Kong, and the award had been won by a bunch of people who went on to become some of the biggest names in European football. Wonder if it would have been different in a professional academy set up
He won MVP at the Nike Cup, think it was at Old Trafford. Iniesta and Torres were two previous winners too.
He looked impressive in that tournament and had such high hopes for him.

I'm usually keen on getting young players out on loan and getting game time, in his case I wouldn't be considering it, firstly he's only just turned 17 so still very young and secondly he hasn't looked out of place in our side
I think training with the first team and then getting valuable minutes in cup games, certain league matches will be huge for him. This time next year we can easily look at the situation and send him out on loan if necessary
Based on what I've seen I don't think he'll have a loan stint, he'll get enough minutes this season and by next season can see him genuinely competing for a spot in the team
-
He didn't look out of place, if anything he looked more composed than a number of players on the pitch
Love how he's always either asking for the ball or moving into space to get it (the exact opposite to McTominay)
Said in the other thread seeing him play now makes sense why we aren't looking at other CM's, he's more than capable
-
Seeing Miley in pre season so far and I'm not surprised that we are seemingly not in for any further CM's
-
Went through Wilson, pen that

Get in, lush from Anderson

Anyone have an idea where we are now in terms of the 25 squad? (I could check but it's a ball ache trying on my phone)
The benefit of Livramento is his age, will give us flexibility with this
