Idiotic from Bostock

Inspired sub by Notts County
-
Decent save by Mair

Clumsy from the Luton player, thought the ref was gonna give a penalty
-
That's a class goal

That O'Nien came across well on the Mackem Netflix show but he's been an absolute prick whenever I've seen him play since
-
I think we are missing the Joelinton-Joe combo down the left but unfortunately it's a consequence of Longstaff being out

Get in. Is VAR a thing in these playoffs btw?
Luckily for the Mackems it isn't, should be down to 10 for a blatant elbow

That's not how "in our hands," works.
I was responding to the post which said at worst it's in our hands on the last day, which might not be the case but SUPERTOON conceded he got it wrong

Another positive is that at worst it’s in our hands last day of the season.
If we lose the next 2 and assuming Liverpool win the next 2 then it isn't in our hands

Suspect this thread will have people in 2 extremes, those that are saying we'll do it, nowt to worry about and we'll win the next games. The same camp that probably thought we'd beat Arsenal and Leeds or at least get 4 points. They'll accuse anyone concerned of bed wetting.
Then on the other side there'll be those that are convinced we've bottled it, that if we can't beat Leeds then we won't get it. Liverpool are going to win every game and we'll not get the 6 points we need.
The reality is probably somewhere in the middle. We are currently 3rd and regardless of results this weekend will remain 3rd. We have 2 back to back home games we cab win but by no means it's a certainty.
Just got to keep the faith.

Isak looked to move more centrally and we looked better for it
So far (small sample size admittedly) the Wilson with Isak out wide doesn't look too good

Wake up man

Awful, we are bottling top 4 here

Bruno's passing it with too much power

Unfortunately going just as I had expected

They are just kicking us at every opportunity

Not worth paying 50% over the odds though. With FFP, we can't make too many mistakes or overpay for convenience. The playing field isn't level.
Its just an assumption we would have gotten him for less though

A bit of a silly signing in all honesty. We over paid for a player we didn't need right now, when no one was wanting him and his club facing relegation. I think we get him for nearer £30m in the summer, and we wouldn't have missed anything he's had to offer this season. However he's here now and gets my full support. Going from what we've seen from Howe so far, he'll get a tune out of him in the next 18 months and become the player we paid for.
But by the time the summer comes he will have had 6 months to settle, get familiar with the team and the coaching staff, he'll know what it is that Howe requires from him in terms of fitness.
The club perhaps preferred to get that done now so he hits the ground running for next season.

Are they not just getting in on al the Tindall stuff?
(I mean they obviously also like us, which is amusing as it annoys the Mackems)

Does Ashley own Coventry’s stadium? I do t mind Coventry, have fond memories of them from when I was a kid and I felt for them when they had a disastrous time with the Ricoh Arena but if Ashley stands to benefit from them going up I don’t want them anywhere near the PL
Ashley does own it and recently agreed a 5 year deal for Coventry to use it
No doubt he'll find a way to plaster his tat all over so aye don't want them getting promoted for that reason

Now Peter Walton talking shite

Quite ironic from Steven Gerrard, he loved to exaggerate his reactions and dive

Owen Hargreaves talking shite
