Grealish has been poor, surprised he's still on

Gundogan giving the ball away constantly.
On that occasion Grealish was to blame, his passing was too heavy

What a save

Grealish has been poor today

Are away goals a thing in the CL?
Not anymore

That was insane
-
Wow
-
Camavinga has had Silva on lock
-
City look shell shocked, they'll get picked off the counter as they chase the equaliser
Next goal will go to Real
-
What a goal

Rudiger is a proper shithouse

City are so boring to watch it's unreal.
Tbf it takes two to tango and Real have no interest in playing football
Which they are entitled to do but find it bizarre that people are having a go at City here and not Real
-
Why did City keep playing on? Should have stopped and took the free kick
-
The CL anthem hits different
Even though City are a better team Real Madrid will go through

But I think the main point is how is that 5th spot determined for the 2024/25 season? Is it purely CL performance by teams in the 2023/24 season, does it include Europa League and Conference, or is it cumulative over a certain period, in which case a Man City triumph this season might be beneficial down the line.
I'm not sure if anyone knows for sure. All we hear is 'likely to go to a PL side', but how it is likely, and could that 'likely' change to less likely based on results? Is it on the assumption that English teams will 'do enough' in the 2023/24 season. If City winning it this season increased the coefficient and thus the chances of a 5th place in 2024/25 then aye, I'd defo want them to win it, but if no real impact, then I'm not really fussed.
Basically we will need PL clubs to do well next season to ensure the league gets a 5th spot

Even if City don't win ? Is the 5th spot a qualifier ?
City winning makes no difference
This year 1-4 is CL
Next year 1-4 is CL but the new format means the two highest countries get an extra place, which is currently PL and La Liga (so 5th in both leagues)

I want City to win but think Real will do enough to go through

We all City tonight ? Do we need them to win to make it 5 champions league spots for next season ?
Makes no difference
Next year is likely to be 5 spots anyway

Simms got 7 goals in 17 games too, before he was recalled
Forgot about him tbf but he was covering for Ross Stewart (No idea how long he is out for)
I don't think they've been that reliant on loans, though their best player is a loanee, it's not an unmanageable amount
-
The loan thing for them is massively exaggerated
Diallo they have on loan who has been crucial, Gelhardt joined in Jan but he's been far from crucial and basically covers the injury they got to Stewart. Then they have Michut, who hasn't been crucial but they also have an option to sign.
Diallo is the one they'll miss, they can't afford a player of his ability unless they manage to get him on loan again

Play off final is the same day we're away to Chelsea. Mackems vs Boro with Newcastle in town as well will be interesting.
Edit: Maybe not actually?
Was meant to be the same day but was pushed forward to the Saturday
-
Knew they'd get in the play offs the moment they got that late equaliser against Watford
-
A goal for Millwall and Coventry would do nicely right about now
-
Coventry were winning as were Millwall, it was going so well
Other games (2024/25)

It's baffling, he's got options on the bench but seems reluctant to use them
Both Grealish and B.Silva have been quite poor and been defended well so bringing on Mahrez/Foden would make sense
