  2. Big Al looks smug as owt in tht pic like probs because he doesn't need diagrams of the pitch like Chris does  O0

Ahh but Chris has the headset mate, balances things back out.

Everyone who wears a headset looks like a prick. I cannit stand those 'bluetooth' people that wear those handsfree things when they're not even in their car. Just pick up the f***ing phone man.

Yeah but big Chris can pull it off. The guys a fashion demon!

  4. A defeat here may not necessarily be a bad thing.

    Care to explain why not?

He probably think it may pressure ashley into allowing a loan signing or something, or maybe even sack Hughton.

Simply because it will further fury fans, instead of masking over the shower of s*** we have just been hit with. It wont have any massive effect like, but I think if we could protest for that one game last season when the situation was considerably better, then surely now is the time to all Unite against this c***.

i thought the protest was a disaster tbh. did nothing but fuck up our season monumentally.

  5. This (Arsenal vs Liverpool) has been a good match. Much less of the usual hype and cheating, lots of promising young players, some nice football played by both teams and a couple of great goals.

For once, David, we can agree. It was great stuff.

Kieron Gibbs impresses me every time I see him. This World Cup will probably be too soon for him, but he is sheer class. I quite liked the other full back as well, Gilbert.

Gilbert is a strage one, I remember him being in the first team a few seasons ago, think he may have played the odd game at left-back too, then went out on loan and just dropped off the radar.

Kieran Gibbs WILL be the best left back in the world. Guaranteed.

  6. The appeal against the automatic 3 game suspension has been heard by the FA today and as usual rejected.

He will now serve a three match suspension starting on Monday night.

Now I saw the incident quite clearly and thought the card was totally unwarranted - in fact the Doncaster players were more violent than he was throughout the event - plus if the linesman was supposed to have been the one who gave the referee advice on what happened god know what he thinks he saw, Khizan's back was to him practically the whole time!!

Utter joke to be honest, that ref (Deadman) was so far out of his depth in the game it was beyond funny!

He had his hands around his throat ffs, what a stupid post

Right but, how could the linesman have seen that?  In real time, i.e. as the event unfolded there was very little chance that that could have been seen by anyone in authority on the field.

Next time you have someone throw a punch at you see how you react, Zurab was relatively calm compared to how I would have reacted in all honesty.

If you still think it was a stupid post I must apologise, guess I am just not as bright as you.....

I was sitting half way up the east stand and i saw it, it was so obvious even Stevie Wonder probably would of seen it. He acted calmly? he grabbed him by the throat ffs. He didnt throw a punch at Zurab either btw

Cant believe people are defending him here, both him & Sharp should of been sent off

Wait a second, your not a comedian are you?!?!

  7. Jamie Redknapp's weekend watch:

    GEORDIE PRIDE

Did you notice the biggest gate of the day on Saturday? 43,949 fans turned up to watch Newcastle play Doncaster. I know they are top of the Championship, but those Geordie supporters are something else after what has happened to their club.
