  1. Dont mind it being green but if its purposefully Saudi green ill be fucking furious
  2. Infinitely loveable. Gave more for this club than an embarrassing amount of others. Hope he enjoys a long and healthy retirement.
  3. Exactly. To say Newcastle is not close enough to the sea is just laughable. I'm sure I read once that one particular year in the mid 20th Century, the Tyne shipyards produced more ships than the entirety of the USA. But aye, let's cast our sea connection aside! The city and the region have much more connection with the sea than just coal and shipyards as well. Fishing and as a trade port have been important since Roman times. We've got a statue of Neptune on the quayside. Used to have a fella walk round dressed up as Neptune at the fishquay festival having pictures taken with people. It doesnt need to be in your face relevant now for it to be able to be a representation of your history.
  4. I dont understand Trippier's name being mentioned so much. He's a starter for Atletico, why would he move? Ive not read anything about discontent or them wanting rid... He's out for the rest of the year now anyway. Which would further complicate things.

  6. Malcolm Allen was a funny looking guy. Always looked like he'd spent the previous night on cowies.
  7. Yeah, unless you wanna train 40 hours a week
  8. Think I was confusing that with the Wolves game in the FA cup. Which we just lost.
  9. That needs to go in the internet archives of things to be kept forever
  10. Was that the replay when we were shocking in the first game? EDIT: Or maybe second leg with it being LC?
  11. Forgot Barnes played upfront for us when Shearer got injured in 97-98 and Les and Beardsley had left. Top scorer with 6. He wasnt exactly the quickest then.
  12. We signed John Barnes, Stuart Pearce and Ian Rush in 97. Aged 34, 35 and 36 I think. Remember Pearce being decent for a bit actually. Cant remember Barnes featuring much. Rush less so but I think he scored a winner in a cup game. Remember it being a big winner. Could have been the FA cup semi but that's a guess. Dalglish was crazy.
  13. Matterface: "If Bellingham scores tonight he'll become the second youngest scorer behind Wayne Rooney... Rooney's records are just falling tonight arent they?" You just said second. Behind Rooney. And he hasnt even scored. What is the matter with you?!
  14. He's not declining really either. Apart I suppose from not starting as much. I think he's actually getting better in some areas. Probably do a Milner.
  15. I would actually ejaculate if we got Zinchenko
  16. A goal and an assist from them in under 20 minutes. I know what youre saying, though
  17. Surprised to hear someone suggest a player not being good enough to start every game for City means theyre not good enough for us, mind.
  18. Both being multiple capped international players.
  19. Love the fact that most of those sponsors outside the "Big 6" are the dodgy, foreign betting sponsors. Deals made to make millions in illegal money mainly in Asian betting markets from dodgy as fuck companies but not even have a presence in the UK.
  20. Robbie Elliot looks like he's been bootleggin' liquor with Max and Noodles.
