  1. i'm not. i'm right about martins and xisco, too. you just don't realise it yet. you'll see. you're feelings on Xisco are that he's a cunt love to know how you're going to be proved right about that one The only thing that can be said for Xisco is that joining us was a bad move for him and ourselves.
  2. Clean and Fresh the real winner there... whilst sporting 2 day old stubble.
  3. I think it's fair to say that his feelings are mutual for the majority of fans here - he just can't express himself in a articulate manner.
  4. Probably best not to take this too seriously. Internet message board and all.
  5. don't be so fucking stupid. i said i hope he is paralyzed. bahahahahahaha http://www.otf2.com/forums/images/smilies/king.gif

  7. What? Fairly certain selling the ambition of a club like you say only works when they sign the player.
  8. I know what you're saying, but there's got to be a bit of give and take. I mean, you could say that any of our players would look good if they had Rooney and Ronaldo creating chances for them, but that rarely happens in the real world. For us, Owen was a waste of time last season. I agree with the basis of your post. We lacked creativity last year, it was obvious for all to see - I was almost campaigning for a creative midfielder to be added in January (when we got Nolan). It shows that if Owen played in a team with more creative talent behind him, which the majority of EPL teams have he'd potentially score a lot of goals for them. The only problem I see with Owen (in regards to his ability to play in the Premiership) is his susceptibility to injuries, which is actually a massive problem. Discussed it on another forum yesterday and the team he's most suited to playing in is Pompy. If they could get him on a salary with appearance bonus it'd be great business.
  9. Well look at the bigger picture. What is one of the main reasons a striker gets a scoring opportunity?
  10. Highest goals to shots ratio in the premiership last season

  12. That supposed contract Hull where offering is so wise. Knew Owen wouldn't want them though - just not a safe enough club.
  13. USA getting in the way of Italy's demise
  14. Surprised people took this seriously

    RIP sale thread.

If Carlsberg did forum mods posts like that would be deleted.
  16. Pretty much sums up my thoughts on the majority of users
  17. Fairly certain this debate has found it's way into every single thread http://www.otf2.com/forums/images/smilies/sorry.gif
  18. Just thought it would be best to let everyone mong-out in a single thread. Save other threads from the drivel http://www.otf2.com/forums/images/smilies/sorry.gif
  19. Confident that there is a need for a thread of this nature.
  20. Care to explain the loyalty side of this post.
  21. Because i felt it's relevant. It's not though really. It's an Owen thread - best keeping it that way.
  22. 'Dinho lad' why are you bringing Martins into an Owen thread?
  23. Nah, really it's quite logical. And 'one outstanding attribute' is wrong too. I'd wager several players who are faster than Owen was in his prime who couldn't match his scoring ability. He has far more to offer than pace. The main issue is that injuries have severely limited him physically to what he once was (which can impied shooting capabilities and upper body strength) and you find that funny.
