  1. Poor decision, that. Edit: the free-kick I mean. He just poked the ball past him.
  2. I'm a little sympathetic too. The problem is that he has a bit of a history of being a flash twat. I'm biased; I like that he says he wants to leave Liverpool to win things . I think it's a bit of both. There are going to be interested clubs that are more likely to win things and will also pay him more money. Liverpool can't complain when that's part of the reason they got him in the first place. It would be nice if he said he'd stay, but I can't really condemn him.

    Football pet hates

I don't mind that. Mind you, my Dad was a keeper and I played sweeper in front of him many times, so maybe I'm just more used to it.
  4. Had to check I didn't leave him on the bench. Get in.
  5. This is still the only game where I'm happy to see Arsenal win.
  6. Says so much about the injuries/squad depletion that at first glance I thought you were putting up your "joke" line-up.
  7. I love that stuff. The one Gibraltar guy who clocks what's happening and legs it after the ball. Magic.
  8. You're not allowed to do that IIRC.
  9. And yet, the Vertonghen one is still worse .
  10. Going back to Sbragia, Danny Blanchflower was the man: "Glenn Hoddle a luxury player? No, it’s the bad players who are a luxury."
  11. just about enough I think...should scrape a one point win!
  12. Looks like I might lose my H2H because of the Mignolet pen save .
  13. Apart from the trademark Skrtel foul at a set piece, you mean. Can't believe what he gets away with.
  14. Nope Allen's was in a dangerous position. A tactical foul. Most of Fellaini's fouls are in the opposition area. It's just the sheer volume. . Does it matter what area of the field it occurs? You really do talk guff. Are you being serious? It doesn't matter where on the pitch a foul occurs? When a central midfielder makes a foul when otherwise the opposition player is running directly on to the back 4 in a dangerous position. Yes it's a valid booking. How long have you been following football? Your understanding of the game is terrible. Look it doesn't matter where on the pitch you commit a bad tackle. You should be yellowed or redded for it. That's the way football has always been. If a striker kicks a centre half bringing the ball out from defence it's a f***ing card. If a winger goes two footed on the full back it's a red. Doesn't matter a f*** where on the pitch it is. Now tell me what flavour windows you have. You should be, but refs tend not to view it that way, and that's why Fellaini doesn't get booked as much as he should...which was the original question wasn't it? It's a variation on the "Scholesy" rule.
  15. Clyne on the bench with both Moreno and Bellerin getting to play .
  16. Can't remember the last time I had a H2H against someone shite .
  17. Another weekend when I'm left thinking "why is everyone so bad?" For us, Poch is making some terrible selection decisions, and making the same ones often enough to be a genuine worry.
  18. Clyne on the bench with Bellerin playing - why did Wenger bring him on FFS?
  19. Why didn't I captain the bastard?
  20. Might be the first time in Premier League history a team has lined up without a single player in their best position. Except Krul of course, I assume he knows to play Krul in goal. Why not play Elliott in goal and Krul centre half with Woodman on the bench. Because then Woodman is in the right position.
