I don't think such a thing exists, I've been once and the whole area around the ground seemed like a total s*** hole. Away end is pretty s***, you are in corner and if you are near the back the view is restricted by massive metal supports holding up the roof, I didn't have a seat the stewards said Rangers fans rip them out and there's no point replacing them as they'll just do it again next time. I'd drink in town, there are some cracking pubs. You could risk drinking around the Barrowlands if you fancy soaking up the atmosphere though you might have to keep schtum.

Wonder what the odds are on Sunderland getting the most red cards this season? Cana & Cattermole?

We've been told that they haven't been abolished, they've just been withdrawn from the Reserve Premier League (or whatever it's called). Makes some sense, the kids will keep playing the youth stuff, those who progress from there will go on loan and friendlies will be organized for the squad to keep their eye in. That seems to be the plan - the thinking is that the Reserve league isn't a good enough grounding for developing kids.

Guzan's nearly 25, with 7 caps! I do rate Albrighton, though, and Delfouneso looks very good. Not convinced Bannan will overcome his lack of height to win a regular place. Still think MON will have to buy 4 strong squad players minimum, and you still desperately need a classy CB to replace Laursen.

Wish I could have seen the punch-up. To be fair though, "playing largely the kids" is a bit of a fact-massage - only Lichaj and Albrighton in the starting lineup could be called kids.

The only Arsenal game I was at last year was the one at Villa, and that was the worst performance I had seen from an Arsenal team since the mid-80s. If anyone drops out I think it will be them.

Whereas a club like Spurs spend similar amounts in a similar time period on the likes of Woodgate, Hutton, Modric, dos Santos, Corluka, Keane, Defoe, Chimbonda, etc. and feck all is said. quite a lot's been said about it! Not quite the same scale though...and 30 million for Berba helped.
