Disagree with the last bit. No-one was getting any shots away at all the other night. Absolutely riddled with fannying about. He just rocked up, shot and hit the post. Need more of it imo. Maybe, but he looks to shoot far too often from long range imo. His hit ratio is low. Hes either hit the woodwork or scored from long range in each of his last 3 starts for England?

Think people are being a bit harsh on us yesterday. First half certainly Germany were giving the ball away 5x more than we were, our passing was quick and concise in the main first half they just defended very efficiently. Townsend, sturridge & Lallana all did their usual trickery around the box that has worked previously only to get corners. 2nd Half they took it to us more instead, still Sturridge should have been 1 on 1 twice. I think we're playing quite nicely now as a side in the main & i like the chances being given to those performing in the prem.

What's that got to do with anything? What's his strike rate compared to Wellbeck? England miss Wellbeck because he keeps the ball so much better than Sturridge. Hes currently joint top goalscorer in the premier league. Hes started 3/4 games for England & you're ready to give up on his England career. Hes the best chance we've had at an efficient young English striker since Rooney. Id give him some time like

I disagree. they have been given some pretty close access to Pardew/Players. And now that the local media are banned they are prob the only ones getting any first hand news. The Napoli interest could be bollocks, but either way its still them trying to flog him publicly. "So we want to sell this player, shall we contact other clubs? His agent? Nah if we put an article on SD.com they'll be banging our door down". They probably only avoided eBay because of the 5% they'll take from any fee we receive. Generally a difference between going up to strangers with an item and saying "i really want to sell this" compared to just putting it in a shop window though. You dont have much negotiation power in the former really, going to someone gives you far less power than making them come to you.
