We cant always be the underdog. Clearly it helps motivationally for the players, same thing they lose after going a single goal down. Keeping their belief up is his main challenge. His record when we lose a goal is appauling & he only made up for it when we finished 5th with record CS's. Well that and the fact that the bigger sides give us more space upfront if we contain them. Anita made a big difference to our attacking play.

Draw with Liverpool & Man city (over 90 minutes), beat Chelsea 2-0. Lose to Bottom placed Sunderland.
-
What a difference. Talk about one player changing a game, outstanding. The assist for the 2nd goal was textbook man. His ability to keep a ball & pass/move is beautiful.

Seriously seriously love Anita. Remys finish beautiful, but that build up.

Going solely for the counter attack

Getting a bit long ball now

Debuchy turning up as of late like, fair play there
-
So much calmer & more efficient on the ball as everyones saying. Exactly what we needed against Sunderland, a presence of mind.

Why the fuck does Sissoko only turn up against chelsea man. YOU ARE A GOOD PLAYER KEEP DOING IT.

Just started watching as i saw Anita's come on. Seems we're playing decently.

Chelsea at home last season although your point is valid nonetheless. Good point, id included that then relooked & forgotten why as we scored first. That & the Southampton 4-2 if im being fair were both creditable. Prob been the odd decent draw also, the 4-4 is obvious. His record is absolutely atrocious though, that makes it 6 games from 54. Talk about a side losing belief instantly, if we concede first we're all best off doing something else with our day clearly.

Stat i just worked out through interest: Under Pardew we have gone behind in around 54 matches overall & have gone on to win just 5 times. Twice in the 2011/12 season. Scunthorpe/carling cup 2-1 (115th min) & Blackburn/FA cup 2-1 (95th) And 3 times last season vs Qpr (Needed a pen to win 2-1), Southampton (pen & OG to win 4-2) & Stoke 2-1 (92nd) Thats his record from 54 games its happened. We have never beaten a side in normal time under Alan pardew after going behind in the game without a penalty to help our cause.

The Official Alan Pardew Excuses Thread
Jayson replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
He told Sky Sports: "I really feel like we've been done by a sucker-punch. "The referee had a hand in that goal as well, because the linesman gave us a throw-in and I don't think that's a foul. We just switch off and they have capitalised from that. "The free-kick wasn't a free-kick. Cheick (Tiote) is out of position and Yohan (Cabaye) misses the cut-off of the pass, and then we're open a little bit. "We only made two or three errors in the second half, I think that's the only shot they've had - or the only chance they've had." "That type of victory is the sort of victory you want when you come in as a manager. I think he has been very fortunate today to get it."
