Pretty sure its for both sets of players that have to be outside the 18 yard box. Makes no sense to only be the attacking team. You wouldnt give an advantage to the side that just unfairly stopped a goal with a foul of some kind.

Its balancing up what you take from improvements in confidence over last season & this league being easier for the defenders in general. Taylor/colo forming an understanding will have helped, at any level. Just have to hope next season their confidence keeps high, because those teams will take more of the chances we give them. But i reckon we'll do better than last season at the back anyway. May be that Bassong for as good as he was, was getting in the way of a good partnership forming.

Its 6 in 6 in the league. Plus his goal in league cup, so 7 in 7 really. Pretty impressive, plus a few assists. Not his best game today though, needs to get fitter.

It was poor football first half thats why. We created nothing going fowards, scored from a foul & ended up thankful to a handball that we werent 1-0 down. Against a crippled boro side who are 17 points behind us. Called it wretched cos that was part of the woeful definition given, thats all. I just think we played badly first half, 2nd half was much improved.

If players did this instead of the manager itd be a completely different story you know. If they stopped bothering to play against the top 4 & walked around for 80% of the matched so they were more "rested". Im sure everyone would be well impressed with the sensible approach they were taking, regardless of how it damaged the point of them being there atall.

Read man. The first 50 minutes were wretched, crap, awful, woeful, whatever the f*** word you want to use. How anyone can disagree with that is beyond me, we played long ball football to two lads who did nothing but foul/get fouled/get nowhere near it/lose the ball. What do you call that?
