Nice goal tbf

Prem this season has been alright so far. Pretty much anyone can beat anyone, moving away from top 4 domination - hopefully.

Would you extend Harewood's loan until the end of the season?

Dont think we ever look a genuine attacking threat playing 4-5-1, Ranger or not. Qpr was just a tougher match, we were to negative and missed chances. Ipswich he started & helped change the games when he came on against Plymouth & Doncaster. We'll get wins with him playing. We've more than enough striker options at this point with the 4 of them, especially with Loven getting his chances away from the wing now. -

If we needed him to yes, we've already won games with him starting. The only way he'll become even more of an influence is to keep getting games & improving. Right now itd just be as a sub, but things always change with performances -
2-2 Sunderland, good strike

We wouldnt hardly score without harewood. Hes scored 4. Nolan maybe, not harewood. Having said that after recent performances id put him currently as being our 3rd most in form striker. We wont keep him on though & i dont see us not getting promoted because we lost Harewood so i see no point in extending. We were doing perfectly fine before he came, our worst period this season actually came when he arrived and got his first games. Id rather see Ranger/Carroll do a job & get more experience, theyve both shown they can. They just get less chances now. -
Just matched betting isnt it, a gambling loophole. People make thousands doing it if you look around a bit, all about using free bets and all these kinda offers.

I don't see the problem. If they'd played full strength, as the games against Arsenal and Chelsea showed, they'd have still handed Man Utd 3 points. Burnley lost 3-0 at Chelsea, 4-0 at liverpool after the Man U game. Had full knowledge that the next side they're playing was resting 10 players so theyd be fresh against them & had to play Arsenal with only a 3 day gap afterwards for the next fixture. They played their first team and got a draw on wednesday. Thats the difference in attitude really, Burnleys isnt crap & they deserve to hammer them for it. Lookin foward to it now.

I dont disagree that the big teams break how the rule is written out, but i do not think they are going against the initial reasons the rule was put into place. So i understand why theyd have less problems with the big teams doing it than the smaller, that doesnt make it fair but it makes sense. I agree that they basically need to completely reword it as things have changed with the squad depth now of the best teams. Man U's situation last season wasnt the same from where im coming from. They already had the league won, so winning didnt benefit them much in the first place. The very end of the season is pretty much the only time outside of europe where that applies. I dont think that situation was onfair on us, thats how the fixtures panned out & the potential league winners were always hulls last game. Even after all that, saying "what if" they lost is a pretty big what if. They didnt lose, they won so the team he put out was more than capable enough & he did nothing wrong. The idea of all these tables though is to progress up them, if you cant get anywhere closer to doing that by winning you're not doing much wrong if you dont go for it. In those situations, those sides have already temporarily achieved what they had set out to achieve, fair play. Wolves havent, they had the points there to win & common sense shows they just gave up in advance. They dont have a squad capable of making 10 changes and contending with most championship teams let alone Man United. If their manager goes into certain games with that attitude they may aswell not play in this league.

No idea how people can compare this to the Everton game but yeah. From now on lets just have all the sides lower in the league resting their players against the best sides so theyre better able to compete in the easier to win game afterwards & half of you would see no issue. As its "down to the manager". Itd also be down to the manager if they chose to rest their best players against one of their mates sides, so thats fine to. Why doesnt the other sides chairman just give theirs a load of money for it even, just so they can invest more in the first team? All very logical & about thinking fowards. Ruins the point of the league quite massively, but lets gloss over that.
-
You're asking why its worse to accept defeat than to go for victory ? No, to presume victory. Dont see the difference You put out a side you think realistically capable of a victory & you're going for the points. Thats the whole point of the game. If you have sides lower in the league giving up in advance that just ruins the point of them even playing eachother. Seems obvious why thats worse.
-
Thats such a simple but mint point actually. Why is it worse to accept defeat and rest the team for the next match than to accept victory and rest the team for the next match? You're asking why its worse to accept defeat than to go for victory ?

Ameobis been our most lethal striker by a long long way
-
Birmingham are doing great so far & Bowyers been a big part of that so i gave it him. Itd be defoe but he barely left them anyway. Kranjcar & Bent would be the next two.
-
Its pathetic really, i hate that attitude. Burnley did the opposite and beat Man U earlier in the season, so for that reason alone i hope they hammer wolves now to.
-
Forgetting the fact that Harewood scored 2 goals in the last game he started, against an oppositition in a similar position to Boro. He got an assist in his last start which was watford, got brought off early because of Nolans sending off. Hes definately been doing better recently. Id still start Ameobi & Loven before him, but hed get time as a sub.
-
Be brilliant if they lose to Burnley after this, just great.
-
The idea of the rule is to make sure matches are still competitive surely. So teams dont do exactly this & just give up and make it a crap game. If the top teams do it they can still put out a side that can win the game, so makes sense that theyd care less about those situations.

No-one is saying Owen was the only one to blame, no-one is saying that if he looked like he cared he would have kept us up. He was our captain and he didn't look bothered when the team was teetering on the edge of relegation. That is why I don't believe he deserves to go to the World Cup. Now stop putting words in peoples mouths, of course the whole team was s****, that doesn't change the fact that Owen showed a complete lack of effort and lack of respect for the club. I didnt say you were. Lack of effort isnt really supported well, thats what the convos about. He was a crap captain yes. I dont see how this ends up with people being so bitter that owen playing for England would near ruin the world cup for them Clearly a larger percentage of blame is put towards him than is rational, people dislike him far more than most others that have left.
-
Thats down to the people that made him captain. He never fit that role atall. How does a player look like he wants to keep us up anyway, sounds like some of you were expecting tears after every goal. We couldnt pass = owen scored no goals. Our whole team lacked confidence last season & underperformed. I see no reason to put the majority on Owen beyond his paycheck & rep, so people had higher expectations and were let down.
-
Doubt we'll go for him, he'd only get game time in positions neither he or Wenger would want him to play. The lad himself has said he wants to stay in the prem & im sure prem teams will be in for him.
-
He doesnt deserve it why? Because you expected him to turn around the team single handedly yes. If he performs well he'll deserve it obviously.
