Think the problem with Jonas is he doesnt fit atall into a side that plays it long. Its the opposite to how he plays. So he barely gets it, then when he does he cocks up. I dont see him not trying, i just see him doing crap when he has it.

Defender, backpass, harper, long ball, carroll, foul/offside, sit back invite pressure, they miss chance, harper, long ball etc

Refs not having a good game

Our entire tactic is lump it up to carroll. We're the definition of long ball football right now. Thing is nolans not as effective when hes being marked & is far better in the hole coming in late. Then you have ranger who is better at dealing with long balls. Then you have Butt who is worthless. Push Nolan back into midfield infront of Smith & bring Ranger on for Butt...push him upfront. = Far more effective team. For this style of play anyway.

We lose the ball because carroll is the only lad upfront & isnt the best at holding it up. We've been through this before, its obvious. We then invite pressure cos we cant keep it.
