  1. Still think we'll win this, somethings gotta happen though to lift them again
  2. Poor passing just dominating the game. Not sure how he'd change it either beyond shoving Carroll up for Loven after ht. Not playing to our ability.
  3. Seems like theres so many handballs in this league, near one every game
  4. Simpson at leftback, happy with that. COME ON LADS
  5. 0-0 West brom & Preston it finishes.
  6. Id much prefer Zurab next to Staylor than Simpson, simpsons hardly proved he's a brilliantly central defender at this point. Id rather he was moved to the left with Rtaylor on the right.
  7. We should be expecting to piss this league. We have the quality of the squad to beat every side in this division, if we dont do that we're underperforming.
  8. Hope hes playing Loven upfront, im glad hes tried that if so. About time we gave the guy a chance. Happy with the midfield also, shame Enrique's out if so. Think the cover should be good enough, but Enrique makes it look so easy its hard to tell. Good feeling about this game now
  9. Appointing keegan wasnt wrong atall, we'd have gone down the season before last if we hadnt. Had us playing the best we've played in a while in his short time here yet again, treating him like a twat is what was wrong.
  10. Be an 8 point gap between us and 3rd if both us and Westbrom win. 7 if its a draw & we win. Id be happy either way, all of the possible results work out well for us if we win.

    Chris Hughton

Well we've had a better month than all the rest so in that sense he deserves it. Havent been that impressed compared to last month though, thought he was doing a better job then.
  12. Hughton is only caretaker manager atm. Its not a managerial sacking if we bring someone in over him.
  13. Ashleys status amoungst your average football fans is much lower than Keegans. Its a bigger story for them to publish Keegan trying to screw over the fans that loved him, rather than Ashley being the bad guy.
  14. Course he had no option, think about the situation. They werent backing him atall, they're basically lying to him & the fans at the same time. Theyre also not helping him perform his job atall well - a job in which obviously the performances his team gives are going to effect perceptions of his ability as a manager. At the same time, theyre giving the illusion that they are actually helping him by bringing in players which only he and they are aware are near completely useless for the job. If we'd ended up finishing 15th or something (assuming under Keegan we'd not have been relegated) due to injuries and having no cover we'd all end up thinking he wasnt up to it as a manager along with everyone else. When he would have had no chance to use his full ability in the job whatsoever. Some are expecting the guy to potentially sacrifice everyones perception of his ability as a manager purely on what would have been a laughable assumption at the time that those in charge wouldnt employ another manager to manage us for much of the season & then only find a guy who hadnt been in the game for many many years when they finally did. Anyone with a brain would have left at the time he did.
  15. Burnip you dont think that potentially staying at a club where he was being screwed over may have affected his ability to perform as our manager effectively or motivate our players? Leading to our club underperforming, whilst both tarnishing his reputation as a good manager - only because he himself was infact being fucked over ? Or do you think of Keegan as being some form of robotic god & if he doesnt single handedly perform miracles to put our club above all else in the universe - he is infact some kind of evil mastermind ? Some people are being let down by their own moronic expectations.
  16. It comes down to whether people expect that the guy would waive a large amount he was likely entitled to (if he hadnt agreed a smaller amount initially) to benefit the football club that he apparently loves, even though it was being run by a guy who'd helped crap all over his reputation and is largely a complete twat. So a tough call. Depends how much of a difference you think him being awarded a larger amount would have made. I doubt it would have effected much massively atall.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Everyones going back over the whole "wait he's a winger who doesnt cross constantly??" issue & getting wound up over it again for no reason. He had a good game from what ive heard.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Not sure replacing Jonas is much of priority, we have pretty much the whole rest of the squad to worry about first.
  19. Hughton picks the strikers on performances & he's not given Lovenkrands a chance to give one. So its unlikely he'll be upfront any time soon. His best bet is if Carroll has a shocker & Hughton gives him a chance over Ranger. Must be frustrating for him to have fallen in the pecking order based on nothing.
  20. 4 After yesterday sure, i was talking about the decision to play him in that game. Anyway what you're saying is based on hindsight, as i say he clearly looked like he might be ready. Its also far more likely that our entire side not stepping up was the much bigger issue, seeing as players like Guthrie had a shocker, Rtaylor was out & Enrique wasnt delivery quality balls in either. That would have made it easier for them to keep Ranger quiet. So it still doesnt really represent him clearly not being ready. He'll get ready by scoring goals and becoming confident at this level, thats it. He isnt gonna hit some magic age or period of the year and wake up deciding he's suddenly ready to play and turn into a goalscoring phenomenon. Anyway, i would play Harewood ahead of him sure. Thats all i agree with.
  21. Or you could say, that Ranger has currently started only 3 league games & we havent lost a single game yet with him in the side. Depends how you want to look at it doesnt it. Regardless your stats ignore what i was saying, that Ranger had clearly looked to be improving seeing as he has been v good recently & was getting in goal scoring positions in the last couple games he played for the first times properly. To the point where he nearly scored against plymouth & set up a goal against Ipswich along with having two well saved. You cant use stats to represent such a young players ability, when they are likely far from settled or playing freely yet. It made sense to play Ranger yesterday.
