    RIP sale thread.

And then the fans will just get the old "oh not the best fans in the world afterall then" blah blah Ashleys just doin his own thing, its long past him caring about boycotts id say. I dont see him staying regardless, hes just waiting it out for the best price with no consideration of how it'll affect the side atall. He could care less. What can ya do. At best itd effect any potential buyers view of the club & perhaps make them more wary of the situation. Will Ashley consider this atall, i doubt it.
  4. Hardly matters when you've scored seven does it? Well it does, hence what i wrote in the next line down ya see. Because people dont change their minds on something with more consideration or anything. Irrelevant post anyway, not replying to the point atall. Well, your point's a load of balls so let's just laugh at you instead. Because people dont change their minds on something with more consideration or anything. Irrelevant post anyway, not replying to the point atall. Well your man Owen's team let slip a 2-0 lead against a Malaysia XI today, so I guess they should be embarrassed too. Alternatively it doesn't matter a jot because it's pre-season and all about fitness and confidence. We've a squad full of crap players, have no manager and we just won 7-2 and you're still moaning. THAT'S f***ing embarrassing. Spot on. What a bunch of geniuses Yer no signs from that game atall.
  5. Thankgod this lot are so happy and motivated to play for us then Bassong man, all that ball watching he does. Not good enough for us obv.
  6. 5-1 lol Yeah our defence is definately going to improve loads, all the signs are there
  7. If he wasnt sold, he would know he had to perform to keep up interest in his ability. He'd be sacrificing his own career playing uselessly. He signed a 3 year contract afaia, we could keep him this season and still sell him on. IF and when we come out of this limbo, then you have a different situation. Depends on whos in charge & who owns us. Based on the here and now, it would be stupid to sell bassong without knowing anything. & you believing that a person would have to try out "arm flapping" to see if it works or not isnt a good comeback. lol
  8. Do you ever stop crying? Heres some more crying for ya I think quite obviously that selling bassong is not beneficial atall at this point. We'd do better making him see out his contract, he is better than anyone we could replace him with. So i see it as being crap business regardless of how much we get. Generally money is only useful if you have the capability to use it usefully. We dont at this point. oh btw if you flap your arms you wont fly either. Sorry for spoiling your happy ideas with common sense.
  9. Why would we be laughing. So we can then waste the 10 mill on far less quality players. Yeah cant wait.
  10. What tripe. Don't let the Man U supporting rags tell you what to think about Owen (as it would appear) Owen's performances (when he could be bothered) were appalling. He was the captain (supposedly) He's put more effort into it for Man U in one friendly than he did in an entire season here. He contributed to our relegation, and no one said he was the only cause. For chrissakes, what was the rumblings against those who DID play (like Collo) if not ? Congrats pal - one the daftest posts on this subject for 100 pages. I didnt say anyone claimed he was the only cause either did i. But many of you are SEVERELY blowing it out of proportion. Ive spoken on this bs so many times by this point that its beyond laughable. Any with half of a brain would realise michael Owen was the least of our issues. Nowhere close to being even half significant in the reason we were relegated. The bitterness spouted on here is joke now a manager with some common sense has agreed that oh shit, michael owens actually still quite obviously has ability. The only point i agree on is that he shouldnt have been captain, thats about it.
  11. Those playes tended to show glimpses of having some quality at the same time, Colocinni has only shown his endless weaknesses.
  12. Because people dont change their minds on something with more consideration or anything. Irrelevant post anyway, not replying to the point atall. Well, your point's a load of balls so let's just laugh at you instead. As shown by your clear ability to break it down, without resorting to pointlessly moronic comments. So we're gonna do crap in the Championship is your point? And the reason for this is that we beat Darlington 7-2. OK. I dont think that necessarily. I just think its embarassing that we conceded two as i said in the original post. I wouldnt celebrate that. I do not believe it to be highly likely that we'll hold that level of performance attacking wise in the championship atall. I believe it is pretty likely that our defence wont improve to much though. The last thing i want is to be relying on our side having to score lots of goals anywhere atall.

THAT'S f***ing embarrassing. Ofcourse its ok to be mess up pre season, if you know you're going to improve - but its very unlikely we will. It is more worrying that we can concede two against a league two side as thats more likely to be closer to our highest performance level defensively than manchester Uniteds result was. What possible reason is there to believe our defence will get much better. Your end sentance is like celebrating because you've found a pound after putting your hand in a bucket of s****.

  16. Considering how many pens we conceded last season, yeah we should. And we're normally down to 10 men anyway with butt, so yes again we should.
  17. Hardly matters when you've scored seven does it? Well it does, hence what i wrote in the next line down ya see.
  18. This game means absolutely nothing. Ameobi scoring proves that. Whats embarassing is conceding two against a 2nd division side. The oppositions defences will get better in the champ, ours wont.
  19. Pretty sure there was quite a bit far more to blame for our relegation than Owen being made captain lol He'll do well for Man U, its beyond obvious. If half of you werent so bitter, you'd realise the comment he made was very accurate.
