Two absolutely mint goals, now give them a fucking chance. How exciting man.
-
That is why you play two goalscorers
-
He's too isolated tonight. Him, Vardy & Alli could be a great trio. You cant have both Welbeck & Lallana, too similar as players.
-
Foster is capable at this level imo. Hart, Butland & Forster are all top class keepers. Nowt to worry about. Except they aren't, Hart can be but he's inconsistent as hell. There's a difference between facing the best at international level and performing well in the Premier League. A lot of these players are an example of that gulf in class. Butland went through a period where he was superb & has gone back a bit now. He was the best in the league for a period & good enough for this stage. Forster isnt that far off imo.

Because what real chances have we had? Its reactive thinking. The formation is based around stopping them still. You have two top class strikers, but you're focusing on stopping them instead. Play to YOUR strengths. Welbeck/Lallana one should have finished in a goal. You've had the ball in good positions but just f***ed up the final ball at times too. Tbf your tactics are generally working IMO Think people are underestimating it, maybe im overestimating us. We're playing well but it could be better. Thats the point of goalscorers though. You say "That was a good goal" instead of "That should have been a goal". Welbeck & Lallana are not top class goalscorers. They are great players who can make us look like we're playing well. Which is how it looks.

Playing well but have we looked that dangerous? Stick Vardy on, all crosses become twice as dangerous. Kane is playing well, as are the others. But you need goalscorers.

I think he;s one of the least you can have a go at this season. He's put in more effort than the majority of them, he interacts with the crowd, he clearly cares. He's not great at defending, but he's being trained by people who aren't either it seems so. Ofcourse he wants to play for his country? He's far to good to be in the championship, doesnt mean he wont be doing his best to keep us up man.

Basically no point considering Rooney will stroll back into the side on the basis of nowt. This. Not preparing for EC by playing Vardy and Kane up front for England is symptomatic of everything that is wrong with English football. Rooney should go to the Euros but should only be on the bench. You have two s*** hot players in Vardy and Kane who should be given the chance to form an understanding together from now. Those two could score enough goals to win the tournament tbh the form they're in. Both Creative, Vardy has speed, Kane has superb technique, both smart & hard working & both superb at finishing. Give them a chance man, would be shocking to not play them together. When was the last time the two top scorers in the top division in England were English? You're going back to Shearer's partnerships with Owen/Sheringham for the last time we had two real goalscoring forwards & Sheringham is closer to these two in creativity. He's said Wilshere is ahead of Drinkwater & Dier aswell. How can you decide that without giving them faith? Winning the prem isnt enough?

Didnt want to try the Spurs & Leicester lads together then? Walkers been better than Clyne aswell.
-
Probably the guy i get most excited about being on the ball. He can go past a player & make something happen. Even around the area you know he has a shot on him with either foot. Has to play. Id swap him & Sissoko though if Sissoko plays as the latter can atleast cross from the right.

I dont get why Saivet's not getting a chance, he's been good in each game I've seen him play.

Right Draw with Norwich, lose to Southampton, Draw with Swansea, Lose to Liverpool, Beat Palace, Beat villa. 33pts Sunderland. Beat West Brom, Lose to Leicester, beat Norwich, Lose to Arsenal, Draw with Stoke, Lose to Chelsea 33pts (30/31 if dont beat Norwich) Norwich. Draw with us, Beat Palace, Beat Sunderland, Draw with Watford, Lose to Man utd, Lose to Arsenal 36pts (33/34 if dont beat sunlun/Palace. 30/31 if both) Palace. Lose to West Ham, Beat Norwich, Lose to Arsenal, draw with Everton, Lose to us, draw with stoke 38pts (35/36 Norwich, less depending on draws) Basically thats the minimum we'd need if we cannot win in the 3 games after Norwich. Need to draw against Norwich atleast, a win is clearly needed though.
-
There are realistic ways in which we could draw both this game & the one against Norwich and still stay up. Our games against Swansea, Palace & Villa are also key. Plus Norwich/Sunderland playing eachother.
-
He's clearly our best player technically, he just needs to use it. He didnt even have to scrape in that cross, he destroyed whoever went towards him. Had ages to put it across.
-
That goal will do him a lot of good. Gives him more confidence & should give others confidence that we've got a striker who can put in crosses & they're not being wasted. Just needs the opportunities. Took it well from that angle, pleased for him. Great game to stand up in.

Been messing about here: http://www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-premier-league/ Theres a few ways it could go, will be very close. The later fixtures are in our favour slightly.
-
If we draw with them & beat Norwich. Anything less than a win for them at West Brom, will have us & Norwich on 28 points & them on 26/27. We really have to beat Norwich to keep them in it obviously.
