  1. Looks like he's wearing black gym pumps. The ideas seem to be working for Andre Gray though.
  2. West Brom barely keeping the ball let alone managing to mount an attack.
  3. They've spent so much time asking for fans to create an atmosphere, they've no idea it would/does happen naturally if you make inspiring changes for your club. You dont have to ask for it, thats why it looks a bit try-hard. Didnt help they started when we were woeful to watch, as if that was the issue.
  4. Aren't there quite a lot of teams like that? Everyone has made a big deal out of Poch at Spurs, with his double sessions. Yeah, suppose they train differently as the season progresses. Seems wasted time though if the players cant/wont follow tactical instruction, you could work on things that arent that physically demanding surely. Rafa obviously thinks somethings possible.
  5. Thats how i read it, he cant have had us in for 4 days a week and off each lunch time The lunchtime thing on its own is bizarre, no afternoon training? Eh?

  7. Is it just me, or does Jaap Stam not look like a bald Pardew. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/03/16/19/31BBB67E00000578-0-image-a-30_1458155420464.jpg
  8. Only Mourinho, Ferguson, Ancelotti, Pellegrini, Mancini & Wenger with better win percentages in premier league history.
  9. What a decision to even consider us, he has my respect. They rarely take on projects when they've proven themselves. He's doing a football manager.

They're just trying to avoid leaving themselves exposed. Rafa has more leverage if we have no manager, he has loads as it is right now.

Good luck with that What a mug Its a bit far fetched for our current situation, but that attitude is the same that had us go for a Barcelona manager who ended up joining us years later. Id far rather an owner/chairman who dreamed the impossible & wanted to raise our club higher than it currently is. Rather than the current lot who do nothing but talk it down. Peoples view of the club is what you make it, the owner/chairman/manager sets the vision & expectation. You can create an impressive one with belief in your club, or laugh off your chances. Stoke just signed a champions league winner & West Ham bought a player who created more chances than any other in Europe's top 5 leagues. Both players have played their part in beating us this season. Its a shame for us they didnt write off their chances in advance. We should be going for the best managers we can, because why not? Sell the club to them. Get rejected. Tell them they were wrong to say no. What do you have to lose dreaming big?

The only logical reason to continually hire those of lesser ability is because they will accept something that more qualified candidates will not. Thats the reality. There will be a reason we spend 80m on players, yet shy away from qualified people for positions like manager/chairman. People who are successful want to win, they care about their reputation & wont be held accountable to fans if they feel someone else is holding them back. It'll be the same logic behind avoiding anyone non-british. Surely the most obvious solution is that he has a clear plan in terms of limiting the club, by not buying those needed to grow to avoid costs as he is not fussed about us competing. The manager must accept & be pally enough to understand that. (To go along with that they probably have to feel thankful to have even managed the job) The chairman is in place to limit the managers expectation even further, by negotiating above his head hence him not having final say on transfers. We continually fight relegation as he continually underestimates how much is needed to compete in this league & the extent of the damage he has done so far. Hughton was sacked off because he probably had ambition beyond accepting whatever shite he was given.
  14. Silly signing in the first place.
  15. Shelvey is a class above, as Townsend has been. Decent coaching. Perez isnt even meant to be upfront.
  16. Scores while standing nowhere near where he's been instructed to stand.
  17. Massively suprised Mitro hasnt put that in like he usually does
