But some people still think a decent manager can't make a difference They kicked on end of last season though winning 7 of 9 under Pearson. To me it seems they've just come across some kind of magic combination in regards to attitude, personality & ability re Vardy/Mahrez. Shows how much is down to attitude if anything.
-
Shelvey there had absolutely nothing to find and still picked out Mitrovic.
-
Ive missed part of this, why has Dummet gone off & Doumbia not been given a shot?
-
Aye our only playmaker, superb idea. Lol, have you been watching? He's walking around the place moaning. Because we're barely getting him on the ball, because our setup has been a mess. The fix isnt to bring on less able players man.

Janmaat really having a dodgy game
-
The only time hes managed to support the fucking winger he does that.
-

He needs to see it now and change it already. Wijnaldum & Perez are not mobile enough to be covering every single out ball from 4 defenders. Wijnaldum drops deep, leaves only Perez & their defence just brings it forwards over the half way line.
-
The players cant do anything if the ball is constantly coming at them, they just end up running about. Shelvey needs to be in a relatively attacking formation with players to aim for, what can he do? Play a through ball to Perez who isnt even that fast? Only the 3 defenders to get past.
-
Way to deep, how we're set up is the issue. If you focus only on stopping them attacking you just give it back to them & they press again.
-
Its hard to judge if they're better, as we're defensive as fuck. Our attacking players have had no support, might be decent if they've a chance.
-
That came from Janmaat spaffing it down the pitch right back to them for no reason, then not tracking the runner beyond him. Shelvey even put his arms up to him.
-
Well Janmaat completely fucked that up twice.
-
Hes literally done nowt wrong so far.
-
Just a defensive formation, so they're not getting through our midfield easily but we have little option upfront when we get the ball back as its only Perez there.
-
We need to realise we have an option on the left now, the balls still drifting towards Sissoko.
-
Perez looking isolated. Saivet our best player atm.
-
Class that from Saivet
-
Be interesting to see how our team looks if the opposition cant just double mark Sissoko, Townsend should give us some balance.

Norwich is the only one id have a hard time seeing manage it.

They don't play him ffs. Right...but its being mentioned they dont want to strengthen another side below them which makes sense. Whats the relevance of whether he plays for them or not? They are safer if we dont get stronger, which is worth more than the difference they'll get on him now or then. They are 7 points and 4 teams clear off relegation. If things were above board at the club they could use that money to reinvest in the squad. Only reason not to sell is to spite to the player or the rumours about Pulis. 7 points isnt that much, they're playing us soon. Swansea are winning, Bournemouth can also. You'd probably see us & Norwich as being the two to not help improve from their pov. If they dont want to take the risk, it would make sense. To be honest if they rate him that much though they should be playing the lad, so theres clearly something dodgy going on behind the scenes.

Makes sense for them to prioritize premier league safety & the money that comes with that, over the slight difference they'll get for the lad in the summer. There will be clubs happy enough to spend a decent amount for him even with a year to go.
