Exactly. He's been crap since his second season with Bayern. Thing is they struggled on all season last year with RvN who is also past his best so its not really a new experiment. The amount of scope they have - massive money to play with, CL football, few work permit limitations. Yet they sign crap like this.

Apparently Luca Toni is rescinding his contract with Al-Nasr to go and play for Malaga. What a pointless signing for Malaga. They need to stop buying aging crap, or not depending on what you think of them. They've got CL football and unlimited cash, why don't they spend it on some quality young players or at least players in their prime. Baffling.

That's not true, he was good for Roma last season. Played his way into the Italy squad. Just seems like a convenient rumour based off them spending a year together at Swansea. I don't see Liverpool spending big on him, and I don't see Roma selling cheap. edit: didn't even spend a year. Spent like 3-4 months. He knows him from Chelsea too. Wanted him permanently at Swansea but the player had already agreed to a move back to Italy.

Agree with all of that and I'm sure most on here would too. Personally I'd be looking to loan out at least 2 of Gosling/Vuckic/Abeid/Bigirimana. The first 3 in particular need it desperately. Anita sounds a good signing for midfield who can also cover our weaknesses at full-back.
