He may be worthless but I don't get the hatred? He's getting picked because we haven't got any replacements, don't see why he'd quit/retire like some have said. Plus, he's a professional and seems to like the club. I always thought players who try their best should be forgiven if they aren't good enough, can't see how you'd argue against that.

To be fair to Oba, he's been struggling with this groin/hernia problem for most of this season. He's also been struggling due to his lack of a brain and the required ability needed to be a top level striker. This - On the nail....10m wasted. 7 mil less than Owen though. That makes it OK then? They all have, I agree. But Viduka brings a hell of a lot more to the team than Owen, and Duff at least tries every now and again Owen's supposed to be our captain man, he's a f***ing disgrace He's obvious not captain material, I agree (especially when there's five or six better options). Viduka brings more at the moment but he's only changed since Shearer came in (a bit like Owen with Keegan).
