Seems silly selling now, why appoint Shearer? The new owners may hate him. Let's hope that rich Norweigan bloke buys us. Scandanavian mags! What's his name? ^^ my post from the other thread.

That's blatantly not true. im pretty sure ive heard that before to be honest I'm 100% sure its not true. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/5291486.stm Fifa says any player is allowed to retire from international football as long as they inform the coach before the next squad is announced. "The situation is that any player is free to decide that he is not playing for his national team," said Fifa spokesman Andreas Herren. "There is no Fifa rule to prevent any player stopping his international career, that's up to him. "The one thing that has to be considered is that the intention to leave a national team or put an end to an international career needs to be communicated prior to a specific summons." That's for providing the article that clears that up.

I'd rather Carroll was in the team rather than Chopra. Traitor tbh.

And isn't that the point ? Not really, we don't know what he did so he's crap? We don't have public training, no-one knows what anyone's done. What's Shearer done? Where's the evidence he hasn't been mute doing training? He was supposed to be a defensive coach. Didn't see much improvement in their performance in this department. I suppose you could say there were no 6-0's by Man U - but trying to reinforce the midfield to assist the defence blew up in our faces, as we begun to create even LESS than before. And we weren't contributing many chances as was. No, I don't think Calderwood was much cop. But pay peanuts, get monkeys. Oh wait....we weren't paying peanuts were we ? Shearer was supposed to life the team, but our performances hardly improved. Was Shearer much cop? Should we keep him on?

I waited ages on the phone to get tickets for the Chelsea game. Ticket office not doing their job properly. **** off overpaid mercenary wasters!

From .com: Cheer up David Moyes.... You'd think an FA Cup final between Chelsea and Everton would be an irrelevance to us. Well, apart from ex-Mag Louis Saha scoring the fastest ever Cup Final goal, you'd probably be right. You'd also think that the relegation of Newcastle United to the Championship would be an irrelevance to Everton. Apparently not. The Scousers inexplicably celebrated their place in Europe and finishing fifth in the Premier League after winning at Craven Cottage with choruses of "Cheer up Alan Shearer".... Amazing. Yet another club who seem unduly concerned with matters on Tyneside, despite their fans jamming phone-ins telling the nation that Newcastle aren't a big club. You can't have it both ways.

When's that then? Nothing at the moment, I'm just saying

I'm glad Chelsea won tbh, don't like teams outside the top four doing well unless its us.

well if he had looked like that he was arsed when he was on the pitch then there would be less ppl on his back, also he thinks us as fan's are stupid when he say's he's not injury prone haha f*** off m8 good strikers can score goals without a midfield, as shearer proved during his 10 years here as he has some s*** midfielders during his time Shearer never played with a midfield as bad as this: Lovenkrands-Butt-Nolan-Guthrie

Like Beye then? hasn't beye said he'll stay on lower wages though, haven't heard anything from enrique just this contract honouring, also beye has said he wants to end his career here, enrique just wants to be here for another 3 years also beye is loved by most of the fans, enrique isn't like i said (the fans around me in level 7 are awful, i've had ppl argue with me for criticising owen, but when i argue with them over enrique it's totally different in their eyes) Beye will stay on lower wages? What lower wages? He'll be on around 60k (same as Enrique if the papers are to be believed). What has the fans' opinion of Enrique have to do with anything anyway? He might want to stay on to prove the haters (who are idiots incidentally) wrong. beye has said he will stay on lower wages in an article this week well there will be quite a few fans that want rid of enrique and do, beye is cult hero for our fans, so there's a total difference 60k is wide of the mark, there both on around 45k each which we can't afford to pay in the championship, simple as Eh? You're just repeating the same stuff, I said what lower wages is he going to stay on i.e. he's not even on low wages to begin with. And you didn't even reply to my second point, just because fans don't like Enrique how does this make him a money grabber? :/

I sometimes wonder Ronaldo whether you'd stab Ian Huntley or Owen if you had the chance.

And with Xisco in the squad we don't want another tbh.

Barring all conspiracy theories maybe these people were, shock horror, laid off because we need to reduce our budget. Baffling though it seems, I reckon this could be the reason.
-
No season ticket= less money for club= more chance of someone else getting laid off Using that logic. No season ticket = less money for club = more money for imports = less jobs. FYP

Wilshere will be in Arsenal's first team squad next season, he won't be going out on loan.

So Martins isn't a waster? How come? Owen scored more goals, Butt played more games, what makes Martins worthwhile?
