There only one team playing this game? Commentary is fuckin woeful
-
Was gonna say the same lol Must've been taken today.

We could apparently overtake L'pool tonight, you wouldn't think it based on the coverage so far.
-
Lobbed his knob out in the warm up
-
You could predict Sky's coverage of this game to the minute.

Modern day Roy of the Rovers...turned games on a sixpence...

Howay Haris

I'm disappointed with no HBA but I think Best-Ba would've been worse, so I'm glad Pardew's brought Vuckic in still.
-
The game just passed him by, dunno whether he got a knock or not though. I watched the game! Just didn't see the news etc. afterwards.
-
So Pardew risked him getting injured, as he's clearly not fit, in three consecutive games?
-
I'm ok with the prospect of Ben Arfa coming on later in the game and taking advantage of fatigue to get into space. As long as the tactics are sound for the first 65(80) minutes, it might be a good move. You could say that about all good attacking players though. I like Vuckic and I'm glad we've gone for an extra midfielder instead of Best.

I was out the country at the time so I'm genuinely not sure...did he pick up a knock against Chelsea? If not how can he start that and not any following games?
-
The bit I clicked on was where they were slagging off Marveaux. How's the woman beater getting on lads? Can't bear any more, worst accent ever.
-
Pardew praised Ben Arfa's work ethic after Man City, has it gone downhill since then? FWIW I think Best's work rate is actually overrated a little bit as well.
-
The picture with Woodman and Krul looks like Woodman's asking for spare change.

Seems the total opposite to me, we've gradually improved as a team and I can't remember a Newcastle side working this hard collectively. Again, I just can't agree with that. He seems a very positive man and calls it as it is. Admitted he got it wrong against QPR this season and Stoke and Everton last season. Always praises the players, very rare that he blames someone else, even against Blackburn in the cup, he stopped short of saying we lost because of the ref, like Warnock, AVB or Fergie would. Instead, he just alluded to some poor decisions and the 'breaks' which is a favourite of his, along with f***ing SUPERB Might have jumped the gun, but I think he's won me over! Still room for improvement, but last season and this he's been far better than I originally expected. He's probably changed over time. He admitted himself in one interview he got things wrong in the past and has changed parts of his attitude etc. In his time with us you can hardly fault him.

Hopefully. Him, Jonas and Sammy/Obertan running at those ageing carthorses/clowns does sound promising.
-
Suarez been wasteful a lot of the time today, some rubbish decision making.
-
Henderson = derp

Chelsea
-
What were you expecting?
-
Almost half that Chelsea team is black, Suarez won't know who to abuse first.

It's not great though is it? He's made less appearances at his age than King, Woodgate and Dyer had, and I don't think ability is the issue because he's clearly a quality player. Don't think there's anything wrong with having concerns about this same injury having flared up yet again. Nowt wrong with concerns, I do have a few as well. To say 'royally bummed' and 'Liverpool dodged a bullet' is a bit much a bit too soon isn't it? With Marveaux I think we've already seen he's got loads of quality and so even if he misses parts of a season we'll still get a fair bit of benefit from him, a bit like King with Spurs.
