  1. Yep, risky and not the way to go imo. Said so at half time, it's what we do more often than not though.
  2. The team often benefits from having a big lad up front, makes it all the more galling that we didn't get one in the summer. I think Gomis would have done well here but we're the poorest club in world football so fair enough. Shola should not be starting games these days, goes without saying.
  3. Dafty. I was already making dumb noises, ffs. Mike man, always presume Shola is offside, it will improve your happiness by around 10 per cent. After months of Cisse damn near standing in the net with a confused look on his face, Shola looked on. Thinking "I've forgotten more about being offside than you'll ever know son, you'll see".
  4. Excellent half chaps, keep the pressure on because they currently have no answer to it. Worst thing we could do now is sit back. In other news, I like Tiote again. He's a good player when in this form.

  6. Timmy, Timmy, Timmy, can't you see? Well nar you can't, cos it's too sunny. This is why you need a hat, so your hands are free to make saves and that.

i understand HBA, i really do, but when anita is on the pitch we're a much better passing team and can hold the ball better which is important against teams like spurs...if we turn possession over to them too often they'll bury us early imo no sense leaving anita out, none whatsoever Not sure what Anita needs to do tbh, he won us the game last week.

I want Newcastle to win every game so I suppose I want him to succeed by association. Didn't Mick say he would accept a loss if it meant he went, rather than that he was willing us to lose? That's not the same thing.

Actually the best one is when somebody doesn't watch the match and goes shopping or something instead then comes in here and has a pop at people for being negative about the match. Seen that one happen numerous times, the culprit(s) unsurprising.

You missed out: 'Dreadful banter, lads, just trying to be positive.' Also, "were you at the match?"

    - He can't win - I don't see what he's said that's wrong - Somebody asked - Leave Pards alone - I'd like to hear a recorded version of the interview - I don't think this is worthy of discussion - Stop dissecting his quotes, he should be able to say whatever he likes in the press with no scrutiny at all - Every manager says the exact same thing, it's just that we don't read their interviews - Can't believe you want Joe Kinnear as our manager Take your pick, chaps.

Instead he has silenced the doubters.

Stop reacting to it then. Your input means nothing, there's no point in you chipping in now and then saying "stop talking about this". People can talk about what they fancy talking about. Nobody's arsed about whether you think it's worthy of conversation.

Spot-on as ever. This stuff's creeped in more and more since he's realised he can say it, get away with it and have it as yet another widely believed reason why he's battling adversity and doing a smashing job in the circumstances. That's a stretch, like. What's the aim of it then? Now that he's realised he can 'get away with it'. Why is he doing it? Is there an objective to it all? I just told you mate, it's at the end of my post.
