Not an excuse in sight though, he's almost holding his hands up. What's changed?

That letter is outrageous. Absolute wankers.
-
God help us if we have many tits like this in our support.

 One game! One game amongst otherwise constant glory! Calm down lads! What an absolute muppet.

You should. I'm trying to find a fucking gun for pardew and those useless cunts. Don't do it neesy sonna. You been out all day?
-
Thought you were on about wor neesy til the Pardew bit. Sunderland were so shite it was hard to believe it could be possible to lose even a point against this lot. Yet Pardew managed to nullify every single one of our superior footballers by turning this into a clogfest. Thankfully Sunderland look so shite, surely even hiring a competent manager can't save Sunderland this time around? Erm aye ana.

 FUCKING HELL. And I've now got PRONTINISE going through my head to the tune of Galvanise by Chemical Brothers.
-
You trying to defend pardew tonight you midget? Man.

Like I said What were you trying to say man?

It's a shame though, it used to be nice reading the Chronicle during the better times, even though it was crap.

Jeez nees, what in holy hell is that?

He was there days after we got rid of Hughton if memory serves. Nobody gives a fuck, man. The Milburn part where he sits is full of the worst of the worst in cowards, and folk who simply couldn't give two shits that we lost to Sunderland again. I'm not being funny but are you expecting anything beyond chanting and abuse? Fair enough if not, and I'd be at that if I was anywhere near him, but there seems to be an underlying tone on here that someone should go out of their way to chin him. It's not going to happen so let's stop kidding ourselves that it will.

Interviews with players/managers and transfer exclusives, plus pushing club merchandise through the papers, which drive up their sales (do you do that in UK?). Madrid and Barça very effectively use those to beat their local press into submission. They certainly don't get any transfer exclusives, and the interviews consist almost entirely of Steven Taylor saying "We'll do it for the fans", no merchandising stuff. I can't see any benefit that the paper gets from it honestly, yes the NUFC coverage is a big selling point of the paper but real journalists shouldn't need interviews with players to manage decent coverage. I can't think of anything more boring than reading a local rag interview with a player. This could be a good thing for them if it means they employ proper journalists. Seems a leap too far though, can see one or both of them folding soon.

There are more than 3 like. One of them is an infinitely bigger WUM than the others, who are just either proper dense or think they're hilarious. We'll see what they come up with anyway.

while sacking Pardew does nothing to solve the other major issues. Best case scenario if he's sacked some uninspiring mate of JFK's sits in the dugout and same shit all over again same complaints. Worst case scenario its JFK himself which is a rather unbearable prospect. All the while no investment no change to transfer policy no change to ambition. Changing the manager is the only thing we can realistically hope for though, isn't it. Ashley's not going anywhere, Kinnear is his mate and we're clearly not going to be revamping the squad. People are quite obviously focussing on the most expendable part of the system. I get why but simply put its just not a POV I share, managing any premier league side is a hard job, managing this club in particular under Mike Ashley is considerably more difficult than any other job out there so I will always have a sympathetic view. As an outsider, i have to say, really? Is it really that difficult? I watched your game today, and even though you went a goal down early into the game, I thought that if you got an equaliser, there was no way on earth you wouldn't have gone on to win that game. Your squad isn't just slightly better than theirs, it is in a different fucking universe. It's in a different universe to ours, too. I can't think of a single player in that Sunderland side who would get a regular run out in your side. So how on earth did you manage to spunk that away today? They're a fucking awful side, they ran around and chased the ball down more than you did, but by half time, I thought they looked fucked. Once more, I am an outsider looking in, so I am probably ignorant of things that I should know, but from my point of view, whilst Ashley makes lots of dreadful errors - banning the press, that ridiculous Kinnear situation etc etc - it looks to me like almost the entirety of last season and chunks of this season so far, Pardew has managed to fashion a side which is far less than the sum of its parts. Today was a perfect example of this. Footballs full of surprises, last week we played very well against a much better side and played the same system today with the only difference enforced in the lack of any cbs available but there was a gulf in application and effort by the players and I really don't get how or why it can happen. His woeful record as a football manager is not a surprise, it's a highly identifiable trend that will always be obvious to anyone with eyes that doesn't strive to make excuses for him. Yes, our best centre halves were out today but our side should have blitzed theirs today and it didn't. It is not much more complicated than that.

Midds. Can't wait until this thread is dormant, fear it will be a while yet though. The guy's derby record is shocking, he's the only Newcastle manager in my time supporting the club that can't get the players up for a game against Sunderland.
-
Tiote was really good today IMO, pretty much our only good player. Seems to be turning it around.
-
Ronaldo is right, unfortunately. Our support is far too divided to unite against anything, so what will happen will happen.
