Our plan seems to be to keep the score down, that's unacceptable.

Try to win. The man is a fucking coward man, there are excuses for it being turboshite every single week.

Fuck's sake. Yep. "Hey Neil, why don't you look at the Sunderland thread?" Fucking merked.
-
Starting to actually admire Sunderland like tbf. Don't mind them at all. Actually quite like them.

I wouldn't class you as 'most'. http://99gifs.com/-img/503ec354afa96f6c000023a6.gif

How far do the accounts run until? Would we have made a loss if we had bought a few players in August or not?

If we are including wages in these figures it has to work both ways. I don't remember us claiming to have received money for Carroll, Nolan, Ba, Enrique etc.. and included how much we would have paid them which has now been saved. Exactly and thank fuck someone's said that. Don't hear much talk of getting the likes of Smith and Xisco off the wage bill either, yet he'll crow on about additions to the wage bill like we give them it all in 50 pound notes when they walk through the door.

in what way is it total bollocks? if its true then its a more accurate way of speaking about transfer costs than just a one of figure which doesn't take into acount any factors apart from how much the other club received, and thus is essentially meaningless Incorporating contracts into things is misleading for the reasons already stated and many others. Signing on fees I can put up with I suppose.

same, all the bloke has said is that signing the players in january added 10m to if they'd signed in summer 2013 on frees...he's not mentioning last summer at all like Aye, deliberately! but what did you want him to say, how could he have satisified you?? does this mean you think they're lying: "How can they say that at the same time as admitting they got it wrong in 2012 and also insisting they were battling for players at that time?" my assumption is they were too rigid in their valuation of players and walked away from deals in the summer, not that they weren't trying to sign anyone, probably because they thought our squad was better than it was Why didn't he talk about the money they saved compared to last summer as opposed to the additional money they're spending compared to this summer coming? How on Earth me taking exception to that is leading to me getting the anti-Ashley treatment is beyond me.

No I agree Inochi, I'm simply taking exception with his patter about spending extra money compared to Summer 2013. How can they say that at the same time as admitting they got it wrong in 2012 and also insisting they were battling for players at that time? It's a simple point I'm making. Obviously delighted with our business in January, just think this latest stuff is a bit rich to say the least.
-
Mental. They spend nowt last summer and are not only given a clean slate for that, they can go on about spending additional money in comparison to the following summer and nobody raises an eyebrow.
-
I don't buy £31m as a figure for a start. Secondly wtf is he going on about when we were supposedly in for players last summer and they held their hands up and admitted they made a mistake not getting them in? How can they have it both ways and factor in additional wages since January when we actually should have had a handful more players on the books since August?
-
So total bollocks then, and a pointless and bizarre way of speaking about transfers.

We can try to win it, but that won't effect the actual outcome. Hark at Mr Negativity over here! If it's not an attempt at being funny then it's an absolutely ridiculous post tbh. Let's hope it's an attempt at being funny. -
Gonna change the name of my Ultimate Team to 'Mag On FIFA'.

Oh OK then. They were probably wearing astronaut suits because there was no atmosphere in Villa Park. Everyone else must have died.
