He talks a lot more shit (i.e. is basically less honest) than Hughton used to though. Nobody's ever said we aren't trying to get bargains. Think you've missed my point, I'm yet to see the evidence that we'd buy lots of little bargains if they were available, the main focus seems to be investing the square root of fuck-all in terms of net spend. Our principles always end up with us spending next to nothing every transfer window, except when we had £35 million to spend and we spent moderately. It's just such a bloody coincidence!
