Honestly, I am not kidding - some of the cunts on this board make it so unrepresentative of the support it's untrue. And tbf, Elephant In The Room time, some of the foreign lads get it and they understand and they're part of what makes this place mint, but a lot of the foreign kids on here do not have a fucking clue what they're talking about. It's embarrassing reading this shit at times, absolutely fucking awful.

I'm sorry, but that is some pretty astonishing s***! Does that concept not engage with your brain like? That I'd rather not sign a waste of space than give our youngsters a chance instead? Sorry, but you're clueless. I'm clueless? Howay then, tell me how I'm clueless.

I sense a few are saying that because you had your hopes set on N'Zogbia, and Obertan doesn't appear to be as good as him. He's another body in and for all anyone knows, he could flourish a bit more if he's given more of a chance than he was at Man Utd, which he surely would be. People are free to air their opinions about him as a player but you'd think you were buying an inanimate object if you look at some of the comments on here. Come off it man Neil - it's the fact that we seemed to have money to spend this summer which we could have used to progress, and we've signed cheapies and non-entities. Even Everton shelled out on a few fees after getting the Rooney money.

Tbh it's lush how the whole of England presumed Gabriel Obertan was fucking shit given the limited evidence available and we've seen beyond it and offered him a chance at a good Premier League club. We've clearly seen something in him, he's clearly part of the plan. This is some fucking Sibierski shit imo, lets hope it turns out as well as that did. If we sign this guy then I feel even more shortchanged than I did, somehow.
-
Ah God, if that's the case then it just fits with every other activity in this fucking transfer window. My fucking God!

My God, we're signing this cunt are we? Ferguson appears to have regretted signing him from day 1. This is progress. This is what you can do when you accept £35m for one of your best players and have this kind of money to play with. I'm sorry but I don't want this guy, I've seen him play a few times and he doesn't appear to possess a brain. I'd actually rather sign no-one and give players like Ferguson and Vuckic more time on the pitch. Waste of time, just desperate.

The Chronicle has ALWAYS been on sale in the city centre at 1030AM just the same way The Sunday Sun was always on sale at 9PM on a saturday night in town. Are you trying to tell me off or something? I'm saying that there's a difference now in terms of when the paper is printed. It's now printed overnight and ready at roughly the same time The Journal is, i.e. 4 or 5 in the morning. There's a difference between that sort of time and 10.30am in the morning. They also used to print various versions throughout the day, which is no longer the case. My question was to do with whether they just put it on the shelf with The Journal and the other tabloids early morning now, or whether they're still selling it as an 'afternoon' or 'evening' paper and don't start selling until later on. I know this because my dad works there and has done for over 20 years. It's a recent development so maybe you hadn't heard. Fuck it, I'll just ask me dad.

I heart Otter's fake club quotes.

Piss off, it's Friday.

This.

Both papers are dying a total death and they're laying people off left, right and centre. I know that the Chronicle now gets printed overnight with the Journal. Does it still get released in the afternoon or is it on the shelves in the morning now?

Edwards: Feeling that Pardew wants to keep Barton but the board don't. I thought I was going to be able to make a big list here but he hasn't got a clue and he's just blabbering on now.

Luke Edwards on Talksport about this right now.

Roll your eyes all you like, you can't make any comment on the likelihood of it whatsoever. Neither can anyone then... Erm yeah. People are speculating and worrying for good reason.

The majority of Premiership clubs have bought players in, I would say that we are somewhere in the middle of the clubs who have and haven't. Also, we'll only know if we've done well when players start producing on the pitch. Sunderland 10 Norwich 7 Fulham 5 Bolton 4 Liverpool 4 Newcastle 4 Chelsea 3 Man City 3 Man Utd 3 QPR 3 Swansea 3 West Brom 3 Wolves 3 Arsenal 2 Aston Villa 2 Blackburn 2 Stoke 2 Tottenham 1 Wigan 1 Everton 0 * Great formatting there btw. The point is though, how many of those teams have sold 42M+ worth of players in the last 2 windows? I wasn't trying to prove a point. Just posted an admittedly s*** table with the incoming transfers of each team. Everton have sold 35 millions worth and only bought Zog. Villa you mean? They also spent over £20m on Bent in January and have spent considerably more than us over the last few years.

Is Mike Ashley the worst person ever to have been associated with NUFC?
