I absolutely hate that interviewer.

Hi mate. Welcome to the Geordie journos
-
Dom, from my time following them, is not a prick. Anyone suggesting he has a bias against Howe needs to come to terms with the fact that Howe has been bad at his jobb this season. Summer aside, he’s just not got the best out of the team. could he have been worded it better. Sure.

I'm not slagging Eddie off cause I do love him - but his soundbites when we're winning are amazing, and when we're in bad form they irritate me to fuck. Even though he is measured and calm in both instances
-
Agreed. Who is gonna touch that guy? Anyone who could afford the wages wouldn't want him.

We won't be taken for mugs

I want a completely different approach to transfers. If you believe these recent batch of rumours, we’ve had a dig around the back of the training grounds sofa and found the infamous transfer list we’ve been working from these past 3 years.

We gonna do the Ryan Taylor shit again?

Nunez? Stepping into the future by living in the past.

He's got the height. -
The entire U21 loan infrastructure needs scrapped and rebuilt. I hope those quotes are embarrassing for the club internally.

Form aside, he has already been keen to leave in the past. And we need to learn when to sell. Not sure why we'd punt barnes to keep a player that will look to leave again the following window.
-
Fair. In that case, lets keep on doing what we've been doing.
-
Bigger wages. Lower resale value. It's what we're meant to be moving away from.
-
Shouldn't be picking up anyone from the top 6 teams.
-
I’ll settle for a fun team to watch. This past season has me watching baseball, that’s how shit it’s been.
-
I don’t think we see much change in approach from Howe next season. I think he has his philosophy and he’ll stick to it. Which is totally fair, that’s who we hired. I would love if they have some new coaches come in, though. I think that’s a decent compromise between things staying the same and a completely new approach. I don’t know how likely that is though.

He’s probably pushing against ifs, buts and maybes. Deal in absolutes.
-
No issue with the line up. He can choose who he wants. Squad harmony was more my worry.
-
Really happy for him with the result. However, I don’t love the route he has gone down in the pressers about going back to players he trusts. Firstly I don’t get it, cause half those players have shit the bed plenty of times in past games. And it must make the wider squad feel awful.
