Hierarchy based on age and experience is still a thing in most work places tbh. It might not make sense, but we're also not managing the egos of 20+ athletes.

Don’t know how we’ve not managed to coach the team into getting isak more into games. Been going on ages -

Need Gordon on for Willock, somehow. -
I wish I was more arsed about Guehi, and it's not even the Jesus craic. Just proper indifferent.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

My view is quite black and white (pun not intended). If we deserve champions league, we'll get it. If we don't, we won't. I know that sounds obvious. All the coulda/shoulda/woulda stuff feels like unnecessary torture. The table won't lie etc. -
Eddies workaround will be very telling. Willock vs Miley.
-
I hope I'm wrong, ofcourse.
-
I don't think we had 60m to spend on Guehi/Olise. We were just willing to spend it, while accepting the PSR damage. I don't think we'll do that anymore as a club.
-
I think we'll spend but probably close to 80m.
-
haha. I know, I know. I just don't think mainland europeans see the Premier League as the pinnacle of football, like we all do. Not at all trying to downplay our own success
-
Am I the only one not expecting to spend 150m? Do I need to adjust my thinking? Where is all the dosh from?
-
Losing him for that year is a proper sickner, like. Think we'd be even further along as a club had he played. You do get the feeling he's going to the top.
-
Our midfield was wank before he came in. He’s horribly important.
-
Surely he leapfrogs Willock soon.
-
Would never have suggested it before this season, but would not be against him being sold this summer to raise funds. You'd have to replace him like, so maybe better to keep depending on options. Looks like Longstaff will go too, but he won't fetch much of a fee.

Bringing on Gordon might produce some fret.
-
Can someone have a pop at goal.

MUST WIN KLAXON -
Tbf Buying delap for 30m is a smart decision for every club in the league
-
I did think about Burn. I guess I didn’t stick him in because of his age. Wish he was like 25.
-
Who was the last cheaper/unknown gem we signed that slotted into the first team? I just looked back into our history and I reckon it's Mitro, Ayoze, Wijnaldum, J.Murphy? Lejeune had potential if he stayed/got played. Whoever it is, it's been a few years since we had that kind of transfer success. Other teams in the league do it, and we need to also given PSR.
-
A mix would be ideal. But I do think we as fans continue to overestimate our 'kitty' every window.
-
I'd want 4 bodies in, for whatever our budget is. Not really keen on getting a purple for 65m like Cunha or whatever, if it means another season of having a poor bench.
