  1. Haidara, Perch and MYM were brilliant today, but i hope Anita gets the praise he deserves, looked good, shame he was brought off, would love to see him more often in out first 11.
  2. Wat i just get the feeling if we're behind we would go for it more than we will at 0-0 and we still need that goal to take us through.
  3. stupid that despite it being 0-0, it's probably a worse result than losing 2-1 going into the second leg.
  4. taylor getting a lot of praise, but seemed to be needlessly playing him onside on first viewing.
  5. Starting without a proper striker, fair play Pardew
  6. Totally agree on that, know a lad who has agreed to do overtime 'for a free pizza' rather than watch us. He declined their offer on Tuesday though. On a similar theme, few mackems were saying that we should all have got behind Man Utd as they were English. When asked about tonight they said 'fuck off' to supporting us I never do this, I couldn't care less if Man Utd get knocked out of Europe. Or any other English club except Newcastle. If anything i want them to lose, as most of the other clubs in England in Europe i've come to despise for various reasons.
  7. good goal, should be an interesting second half now.
  8. Isn't he ill though? Fucking Pardew man, giving our players illnesses now the cunt.
  9. Ryan Taylor ‏@TaylorR1984 “@paul3avery: @TaylorR1984 do you think Newcastle can win the Europa league?” I don't see why not
  10. 37. Mesut Ozil (Werder Bremen) 33. Dan Gosling (Everton) 17. Adam Johnson (Middlesbrough) Mesut Ozil rated lower than Gosling and Johnson? (assuming thats list is in an order)
  11. Unlucky not to score there Benteke.
  12. Former Newcastle United star Nobby Solano arrested at Manchester Airport EX-NEWCASTLE United player Nolberto "Nobby" Solano was arrested at Manchester Airport over debts and unpaid tax this week. The Peruvian footballer was arrested after repeatedly failing to respond to requests for co-operation over his problems. The bankrupt 38-year-old was stopped at passport control on Wednesday as his details were flagged up. Solano's luxury home in the North East has previously been repossessed. The arrest warrant was issued after an application by accountants KPMG. Solano appeared at Leeds County Court in private on Thursday. It is understood his case was adjourned while his affairs are examined. He had been at St James' Park last Sunday for the club's win against Southampton and had tweeted that he was looking forward to a trip to Greece to visit his children. He has since tweeted he is taking a break from the social networking site. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-news/evening-chronicle-news/2013/03/03/former-newcastle-united-star-nobby-solano-arrested-at-manchester-airport-72703-32915300/
