  1. I know Longstaff goes down too easily, too often but that was exactly the situation where he was right to go down. 100% should have been a pen.
  2. Despite their league position, Palace have got a pretty talented squad, enough to cause us problems. We need to show the same levels we did against Spurs.
  3. Gerrin never tire of seeing Man U fail.
  4. I'm all for us helping out local lower league clubs but I'd hate to see our teams move to a stadium that is such a poor place to watch football.
  5. No live coverage this time? Shame as I'd quite like to have seen how starting both McQuade & Boddy together might look.
  6. Absolute kick in the teeth for Gateshead, seems an absurd decision by the council.
  7. Vitesse have been docked 18 points, puts them on -1 for the season, which means they'll be relegated. Seems like a mixture of dodgy accounting, running at a big deficit & potentially still linked to Abramovich.
  8. 7, best goal of the lot, lovely long range finish.
  9. 4-0, deserved goal for Barker. Honestly 4 flatters Huddersfield.
  10. The one thing that's disappointed me and I know it's a bit unfair to be critical of what is a fan run website, is the lack of any coverage of the women's team by the people at NUFC.com. They cover the academy matches, so it's a real shame that there isn't even a mention on their sight that the lasses could (and should) win the league today. Same with the cup final, absolute no mention before or after about it.
  11. Thought Anderson was brilliant. Not as good or as influencial as Shar, Isak or Gordon but given the strange role he was asked to play today, he was magnificent.
  12. I mean surely Dummett can't give away 4 pens today can he?
  13. Been to watch Gateshead play a few times and every single time, without fail, no matter what the weather is like outside, it has been ridiculously windy inside.
  14. They actually only played 9 players from the start too. It was being held somewhere effected by the earthquakes to raise money for the victims which just makes there timing of the protest seem really insensitive. Looks like Gala had a kick about against their own reserves for the fans who were there, which is a nice touch I suppose.
  15. First clean sheet away since Sheffield (in the league)? Exactly what we haven't seen enough of this season, grinding out the points.
  16. 0-1 down 99th minute, tries a rabona, gives away a foul... he could play for Newcastle with that mindset
