No, Shearer aims to be a modern day professional - something that Keegan does not remind me of. Shearer all day long, he will never get a better opportunity and nor will we to gain stability.
-
Each sponsor board to contain one of his many fantastic quotes that he will always be remembered for.

no 1? Or No. 9. Fitting with other Newcastle legends

R.I.P Sir Bobby, you will be missed by all.
-
We have never had a captain since Shearer left, merely only someone to lead the team out looking somewhat uncomfortable in that role and more terrified by being the front man in the queue then the match ahead. I would currently have Taylor however he is hardly going to change things that much.

It has kicked off, with Ajax dumping at least one mackem in a canal on friday night, but i haven't seen the media all over it. Source? My mate went over and told me there was no bother like.

Great to see Bobby smiling as he always has done. Shearer won all 3 set pieces that have resulted in a goal now?

My mam just walked past and saw this on my screen, god knows what she now thinks of me.

Really wish I was goingto this now, shame I have swine flu!

Oh ok then, well... just shift everything up one and add to the end to introduce meat and potato pies.

1. Appoint a decent manager 2. Get Kinnear off the books 3. Sell the shite/overpaid 4. Buy plyers to replace those sold in number 3, but on less money and of better quality 5. Communicate to the press from the start

Aye the 3 parties being Toast, The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and the club. Nowhere does it say Bobby himself is to pay. The foundation does, and that is the shitter, its taking money out of the foundation which could be used to research and treat cancer. Sir Bobby has also kindly agreed to make a donation to the Newcastle United Foundation from the proceeds of Sunday's game. Think that is the quote that he was looking to post. I presume the Newcastle United Foundation means Mike Ashleys pocket.

Oh for goodness sake. As Newcastle fans we've been spoilt for most of the last 15 years and now we've hit a rough patch the fans threaten to stay away. I'm not having it. Well I remember the dark days of the 80s/early 90s and even though the team aren't brilliant now, we still have better players than we had then and you look at the top class stadium and facilities we have compared to then and there's no comparison. I'll be there singing for the team and I expect every Newcastle 'supporter' to be there as well to show the players that we're still behind them. Not exactly giving up on them, just refuse to pay £15 or whatever to go to a friendly that will be terrible and dead of atmosphere with everyone just complaining about the current situation. I am not behind many of the players after todays disaster, they proved tody they couldnt care. I have my season ticket for next season and will probably attend half of the away match again.

Not going unless something happens regarding management or the ownership before Wednesday.

If you believe that bollocks then you are just looking for a diversion from how crap our players actually are and how little they care about the club.

You would think the Dutch police wouldoppose him travelling really, after all surely it is their choice whether he is in the country or not. If he does travel it would be good to see something kick off, then the media couldn't ignore it.

Then again, dont let that get in the way of you having a go at him....... Erm, OH REALLY? Care to point one out to me with the exception of the one with the shield on it? All the others were a design with a patch sticthed on to the shirt for players numbers not like the manky patch built into the fabric of the shirt. When i bought a shirt it was black n white stripes, no patch stiched on to it or built in. So i'm entitled to my rant. Check the bold bit, yes we do play in patches and have many times. If they took it off you would be complaining that the replica shirt Mike was selling wasnt a true replica! [move] [/move] Erm. ok Maybe they should just make a shirt with black n white stripes that we have worn for over a 100 years. Hows about that for a crazy idea? What next, neon gas filled tubing incase we cant see the player if the flood lights fail? Or maybe spot lights on back of the players shoulders so it highlights the name? Why not resurect the bloke who made the Turin shroud to knock us up the next kit. f***s sake man, just a kit with black n white stripes. What was ok in 1892 is ok now, just cos we live in a an age of computers, flying machines and crazy flavoured crisps doesn't mean or give us the right to f***ing abuse tradition. Not to step on your toes, but we wore red in 1892 It was in 1984 we wore black and white stripes.

More likely then the Renault Megane I thought he was sat next to me in today when I was just leaving Powerleague. I must have stared at this poor bloke for a good minute before deciding Martins wouldn't be seen driving a Renault Megane.

A game where pace nor technique matters too much? Count me in.

I am coming around to the idea however still not 100%. If I get a vote in everything that is done with the money, i.e. if money is to be spent on a banner or a display I would like a vote. This idea could easily work, but until the above is properly announced I won't be paying a fiver, as then I will be paying a fiver to view a forum I have been able to view free for years. Joining with NUSC in my opinion is not the best idea, nothing against them but they are two seperate groups with slightly different aims. The name Ultras however I do agree with needs changing which I am sure many of you may know has been discussed previously. What to change it to and how to go about it has not been discussed to my knowledge. PS: I am not a charva, charva tend not to graduate from uni

What do you call someone who leaves his soldiers in the middle of a battle they're losing? The lad was paid a fortune and was backed to the hilt by supporters who really loved him. When we needed him the most he buggered off to the next rich kids on the block. Yet we're still supposed to kiss his arse and offer thanks? Feck that. Most players in his positiion would have done the same, players have to be selfish I guess if they want to progress their relatively short careers (ok maybe not so much for a keeper but I would say he is at his peak now). I will always be a massive fan of Shay Given, I wishhe had stayed but I can see why he left.
