See, I don't see why he would. We are 'obviously' going up. Where as bottom teams in the Premiership have a potential to drop. So he comes to us, he plays for one of the biggest teams in the country in the top league next season.

I think Arsenal would prefer him playing in the Premiership rather than the Championship for 6 months tbh. Unless of course we pay all his wages and Burnley only offer to pay half.

Good idea that will never happen. All Premiership club current owners would have to agree to it, and that wouldn't happen as no way would they want to part with a couple million if they didn't have too.

Upped their game for the visit of the scousers. Just like the majority of Championship teams up their game when playing us, and therefore look better then they realistically are. Would you fancy us to up our game against Liverpool if we played them right now? Or would you fancy us to get f***ing bumraped. I would expect us to, but I know we wouldn't. I personally think a lot of our squad would have the sense that they felt they didn't 'need' to up their game as they are of that stature (Prem League) anyways. Obviously, we know different - but I still think Taylor, Collocini, Jonas, Nolan etc feel they are top premiership players.

this is why we should put out a decent team(almost full strength) and get it done first time round. another game, more injury risk, another ticket to buy Ashley obviously told the team to get the replay so he could get some extra revenue in.
