  1. My man of the match, consistent performance throughout.
  2. Boring first half, slightly better second (not much). Ben Arfa was wasteful at times (though did sow moments of what he can do). Obertan was poor but is quite quickly becoming a scapegoat for fans which is a tad annoying, especially when no one is playing well. Best/Ba were too quiet, though Ba did at least try to drop back to get the ball at times. Tiote had little time on the ball and lost it on several occassions, not his best game.
  3. Schteve to Sunlun? Please let it be.
  4. Gary Neville's response: http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg861/scaled.php?tn=0&server=861&filename=cebo.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=640
  5. Perhaps he is basing it on the theory that he is likely to own SportsDirect forever (or indeed a very long time) whilst NUFC he is likely to get bored of in say 10 years time and sell on. Most likely when he sells it on there will also be something in the contract stating SportsDirect related advertising should stay in situ for another 5 years.
  6. I am hoping that the theory 'players need time to settle' will apply to QPR more so than NUFC. Going for a 1-0 win to NUFC. No idea who our scorer will be, Ryan Taylor?! I can certainly see it coming from a set piece.
  7. Aguero, I can see him being a more consistent goalscorer bagging 1 or 2 quite frequently. I can see Rooney getting a lot at once (i.e. now) then a dry spell for a few games, then score, them a dry spell and so on and so on. Dzeko looks a good shout too though I imagine Aguero will get the majority at Man City
  8. I had San Marino +4 at 6/4 with paddy power, ridiculous odds! Nervy few minutes for you! Gutted. Least it was only a tenner. Fell apart after the sending off obviously...
  9. I had San Marino +4 at 6/4 with paddy power, ridiculous odds!
  10. Awfully worded question. The club has never changed its stance on standing, it has always been policy to not stand. It was never a standing section, only a singing section. And the reason they will cite for the disbandment of the singing section will be persistent standing. Circles!
  11. I am one of those that got moved from Leazes7, now I am in the SE corner and to be honest hate it. I sit down, because I do not want my arse pressed in the face of the lady sitting next to me. I sit however thinking how much better it was standing and having a view of the players quater of a mile away. I do sing still, which in itself got a reaction against Fulham of a 'tut' from the lady who I politely do not rub my arse in the face of. So judging from the tut, she would prefer me to sit, silent, unless we scored, in which case she will stand and clap - as if just finishing a round of hip-hip-hooray on her mothers birthday. Personally I would prefer to jump, scream and clap all at the same time, but I feel like a total bellend for doing so. £120 extra for something I enjoy less, to say I am thinking of giving it up next season (which after 2 home games never thought I would), tells a story in itself. For the record, the lady who sits next to me is probably lovely, but our wants from a matchday experience are considerably different.

    Bryan Ruiz

Why do they use fax machines? Why not scan and send it in an email? The quality is a thousand times better.
  13. Would love that, shame it is most likely bollocks.
  14. Liam Ridgewell eh? Could be a lot worse, can't see us getting him cheap though
  15. Atmosphere today was appalling at times, very quiet. When a big set of away fans come to SJP for a Saturday 3pm it will be awful just hearing them sing all match. Animosity between home fines in SE corner of those wanting to sing/stand and others wanting to spectate/sit was also apparent in my opinion, perhaps this is what Ashley wants... As for the match, bad first half, not much better second and the 2-1 scoreline flattered us. Had Fulham scored in the first half I couldn't see us fighting back, and I am very surprised they didn't manage to! The space some of their players had today was dreadful, and Colo whilst one of our better players would press their midfield with no one filling his CB position, leaving STaylor with 2 men and RTaylor needing to come in to cover Colo.

    Season Tickets

Gallowgate SE Corner, Block E Row R Seat 84. Took them ages to get back and no courtesy phone call to say we aren't moving you to level 4, classy.
  18. Mackems away when we won 4-1, for obvious reasons. Bristol City last season, had a top night out after it and made a good weekend of it. Everton this season, good night out in Liverpool and we won! Blackburn away this season wasn't too bad, purely due to the reason we met Morton Gamst Pedersons cousin on the train there, which then led to sharing a taxi and him insisting on paying for it. Good fella.

    Players in public

Last time he was spotted in an airport he was switching clubs
  20. Didn't look too bad, just a tussle between the two. It seemed to happen that slow too
  21. Did I hear Man U fans singing Forever Blowing Bubbles? I don't get it.
  22. This, but Bramble in for Campbell. Possible take out Butt and add in Daglish
  23. When you say recent, how recent? I was gonna do a squad, thought Lionel Perez, then had the dilemma, is he classed as recent?
  24. Same level as us really. Which is surely embarrassing for them considering you're a newly promoted side? You would think so, however seemingly not having worked in Sunderland all of this season.
