Cole was signed when we virtually assured promotion, then he brought in Beardsley et al. I suppose this only applies to the strikers as the rest of the team stayed fairly the same after promotion - but strikers are a different breed, there's loads of them out there who bang them in in the Championship but fair miserably in the Prem.
