As I said in the other thread - he needs to be taught how to play as a lone striker as he wandered off far too much. Didn't think he deserved man of the match either - a decent performance, some woeful attemps at headers and a lot of poor positional play but worked hard and looked eager. 7 out of 10.

Thought Ranger did OK tonight but nothing special. He held it up pretty well but his timing for his jumps were pretty poor and someone needs to teach him how to play as a lone striker - he wandered off down each wing too much and dropped too deep at times, meaning we ended up with no target. I think he's a decent prospect but he has a lot to learn.

Go back and read the so-called interview with Ashley from after Keegan was appointed. "Keegan is the man in charge, he has the final say, he names his targets we buy him" etc etc Now tell me if that was true?
