least surprising news ever, what sort of lunatic would risk his reputation on this sinking ship especially as ashley will refuse to pay the kind of wages one desperately seeking someone to save the club would expect.

they're not wrong especially in the current situation

continuing managing Derby is probably a more ambitious move at present

    Steve McClaren

would make very little sense from McClarens pov, take that big a gamble on trying to pull something out of the hat where if it goes wrong in the space of about a month he's not only missed out on the playoffs despite being in the top 6 since september (?) but also relegated newcastle united, thats a massive hit to his reputation which he's trying to rebuild.
  6. we're not short of those either by the looks of it. Besides QPR have a striker who can score goals in Austin(who will be playing to impress anyone watching), we don't have a defense that can keep a clean sheet or apparently even keep it below 3 vs shit teams.

even if it were true (and I highly doubt it) just what is any new manager supposed to do? The defense is just plain dogshit and is going to concede goals regardless of opposition and the attack is nowhere near good enough to compensate for that, any manager that may show up has 0 time to come up with some kind of plan to hide the defenses problems as best he can and somehow pick up confidence which is rock bottom and actually get the players interested instead of wondering where to go on holiday. Plus we're just the kind of club that would somehow ignore a new manager bounce
  8. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/may/02/karl-oyston-blackpool-tangerine-nightmare-stan-mortenson worth a read on just how fucked up things are at Blackpool

QPR is the one (again) its our best shot at winning a game as they'll be down but that might release pressure and they could smash us since what the fuck do they have to lose.

doesn't exactly leave much in midfield either, Abied who I'm very unsure about if he's good or not and Sissoko who has been missing more or less since Pardew left.
  11. don't like statements like this as I said the other day, the same set of sackless c***s who got us relegated last time were the backbone of the team that brought us back up a real manager would make the difference Don't think anyone is doubting a proper manager would make a difference but to say this side and the side that got relegated weren't gutless or sackless is pushing it I reckon. There were a few from that relegated side that hung around and got us back up but the likes of Martins, Viduka, Owen, Duff, Bassong, Geremi and Butt were all either gutless, sackless or a combination of the two and it made a big difference when they went. then at least we had a spine to the squad which was more than good enough to win the championship with Harper, Colo, Nolan and Shola (later Carroll) and you throw in more solid-good players like enrique, simpson etc now though we don't and won't have that spine as the players we'll be left with after Krul, Jaanmat, Sissoko, Anita, Ayoze and Cisse get moves aren't inspiring.

so that leaves what in defense? Raylor Haidara and Colo? And just colo in central defense.........oh this will end well. Haidara is out for the season. So it's Colo and Raylor. forgot about that. Oh dear

  14. If it gets shot of the fat mess then I'm all for it. Hate living in limbo. 0 evidence to suggest it will beyond blind hope. And zero evidence it wouldn't. He'd have to invest a large amount into a poor squad to get promotion. the evidence to suggest it wouldn't get rid of him is the previous relegation. He was putting the club up for sale at the end of the season we were last relegated. After most of the squad decided to stay and with Hughton galvanising the squad he knew it wouldn't be long before we were back up. This time round it will not happen. There is no spirit left anywhere. he put it up for "sale" where the only prospective buyer didn't have any money, it'll be a worse situation (somehow) this time round as there isn't anything resembling a squad or even an 11 anywhere near good enough to come back up so why would anyone waste their money on something that will be losing large amounts of money and will need huge investment. Then he'd need to drop the price substantially to attract buyers and cover the debt to himself. Enough pressure and this wide boy will fuck off if he's not getting the premier league pay day. It would all depend on the start in the Championship. He could end up with his investment being eroded quickly. He'd cash in and look for some other unlucky fuckers. so he'd lose money on the sale then move onto another club with 40-50,000 willing sheep traipsing through the turnstiles each week so he can get them into the PL? makes sense If we go down the shitter, and stay there for some time, he'll have a depreciating asset on his hands. Of course he'd cash it in before it's worth nowhere near what he has put in. As he had stated he wanted to sell us in 2016 and we all know Rangers is/was his next target. This would speed it up a bit imo. that wasn't what was said, what was said was no sale before 2016, nothing to suggest he would sell it in 2016.

I'm not sure if Mourinhio, Guardiola and Ferguson all at the same time could pull anything out of that dressing room as it is not with 3 games left.
  16. the tv cash sure but we were on tv shit loads in the championship so maybe not such a drop in exposure at least in the uk market.

you know he may be right on some of those points (the players clearly don't give a fuck) but for the love of god you never fucking say that to the press.

  20. Really? You can't see Sunderland, who've picked up 4 points out of the last 6 finishing above us, when we've picked up precisely fucking zero from 24 available? both fixtures are horrible Hull: Arsenal, Burnley Spurs and Man Utd Sunderland: Everton, Leicester Arsenal and Chelsea

too fucking young to go, thoughts with him and his kids
  24. 8 don't think we'll get a single point (not even if theres a change of manager because this set of players clearly don't give half a fuck) so its in the hands of the rest, 2 key games are Hull vs Burnley and Sunderland vs Leicester
  25. Leicester 1-0 Newcastle Aston Villa 1-1 Everton Liverpool 3-1 QPR Sunderland 1-2 Southampton Swansea 2-1 Stoke West Ham 0-0 Burnley Man Utd 2-0 West Brom Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace Spurs 1-2 Man City Hull 1-3 Arsenal
