    Alan Pardew

James Perch He was so good that they sold him..... I wouldn't have had I been in charge. He was a good squad player who we will miss badly this season I read somewhere that was Kinnears idea, getting rid of Perch. Its such a monumentally stupid move, it probably was his idea no chance it was Pardews as he clearly liked and trusted him to do a job where needed
  2. I'd argue that despite the huge numbers they have no one as creative as Cabaye. Sigurdsson and Paulinho are more goalscorers than creators, Sandro and Capoue are obviously DMs and Dembele is a driver from midfield. Capoue-Paulinho-Dembele looked good yesterday in a way but none of them are very creative. Maybe Holtby could fit the bill but he hasn't exactly set the world alight so far. dunno seems unlikely Levy would pay the price we'd want for a player they have quite a few of in that position to begin with, not impossible or anything but seems unlikely. I await being proven wrong

  4. yup, its incredible how Ferguson had them performing but a lot of that may have to do with the Fergie and Man Utd fear factor, teams were afraid to have a go despite evidence (our game vs them at OT for example) if you have a go you may get something. Not sure Moyes as good a manager as he clearly is will be able to get near the same results with those players over a season
  5. seems most likely unless PSG have gone mad or Man Utd are looking to seem big players in the transfer market while not actually doing anything
  6. also with Paulinhio Dembele Sandro and Capoue Holtby and Sigurdson do they need another central midfielder?
  7. I'm not sure the the transfer window could handle 2 such misers

    Papiss Cissé

His utter inability to do anything of finish doesn't help
  9. Labrune: So this vulgar Englishman was saying Newcastle would like to speak to you about moving there Ayew: fuck that

    Alan Pardew

I have stated on more than one occasion in here that I actually like Pardew and am willing to give him time, why? The utter choas he's dealing with a poor squad assembled on the basis of price and resale rather than any kind of footballing philosophy or vision and whether these players are actually suitable to play alongside one another. A transfer policy that prefers to avoid spending money. And lets not even get into JFK. Fact is what people have ignored repeatedly is the squad is severly lacking, we own no good strikers and before you mention Cisse he's a load on the side and frankly sums up the entire transfer policy, he is 100% useless outside of the box, 0 ability to hold up the ball or bring others into play and is only good at finishing-in the modern era thats a poor striker the end. We have no width, which means our attack plan is always through the middle because we have no one capable of actual width that makes us very easy to nulify and no plan b. And with our main striker completely dependent on service rather than able to create something for himself that makes us a poor side. Bring into it full backs who aren't that great at attacking and even worse at defending (santons best of the lot and even he has his daft moments) and we're simply a poor side who ridiculously overachieved in the 5th place finish And how many of those players have been signed since Pardew has been manager- including the full backs and the striker - or are you tying to say he didn't have a say in the transfers? If you are then you're talking utter crap! It's up to a manager to create a plan B and a plan C if necessary - this idiot hasn't even got a plan A up his sleeve and his pathetic excuses and comments show exactly what a f***ing joke he is. How anyone can defend this useless pile of s**** is just totally bewildering! its kinda obvious he doesn't. The board buys the players and doesn't pay attention to anything beyond low price and resale value. You don't have a clue really do you - kinda obvious - the bloke is a total useless clown and if you really believe in what you're saying more fool you! you seriously think he has any say whatsoever in who's bought and sold? Really?
  11. I'll be straight to the bookies in the vain hope my atrocious luck would avert it
  12. hey if the keep printing it every day they're going to be right one of these days. I look forward to Bale flopping at Real and Ronaldo getting huffy over his transfer record being broken

    Loïc Remy

so this is his cabability as a deal maker, an expensive loan with no clause to buy just a seasons expense of wages and QPR can laugh at us as they take him back next year. Ridiculous should terminate it now its that fucking bad a deal.
  14. I mean its ridiculous, I don't object to the concept of buying on the basis of looking for good deals per se but it must be always on the basis of what the squad and manager says we need not "this is a good deal but not what we need or you asked for, enjoy!" Its a recipe for disaster and frankly we deserve relegation for such stupid thinking.

    Loïc Remy

so the loan is utterly pointless and we lose no matter what
  16. thats all they consider ever, they never take what the squad needs into consideration just "good deals"
  17. so no new signings then no one in permanently and a squad not fit for purpose, joy

    Alan Pardew

changing manager or not won't change the ultimate underlying factors causing us problems and it will hinder Pardews eventual successor as much as it has him. Best case scenario a new manager will have to answer to Kinnear worst case scenario Kinnear takes over himself. Neither looks good
  19. well thats a load of waffle and has me more convinced than ever he's after Pardews job.

  22. but that would get in the way of cash going into the clubs account

And for half of that match we just as turgid as now. I honestly don't know if we have ever had a solid committed performance over 90 minutes under Pardew. The guy is an utter sham of a coach and he has clearly exhausted any control he has on player performance and motivation. No other club would ever have put up with such woeful management for this long. There is literally no glimmer of hope for improvement none at all. no other club which finished 5th would have such a woeful squad-which won't change if Pardew is sacked so I wouldn't bank on improvement that way.
