If he gets the chance to sign 3-4 players before the end of the window they'll be in sharpish and his tune will have changed. he would sign people but the Arsenal board wanted a set of gold inlayed ivory back scratchers so spent all the transfer war chest on that instead

that was an unpleasant few years over here while Keane was there Sunderland mentioned as often as Man U or Liverpool by the media and one of the national papers with fan columns for the "big 4" (actually mildly entertaining) and then threw in a Sunderland one for a couple of seasons written by that fanzine editor Martyn McFadden who isn't terribly good at the whole writing bit

I know they need to replace Sandro for the season but considering they have Sandro Parker Dembele and Huddlestone with Holtby coming in isn't that going overboard, wouldn't it be cheaper and simpler to just get in Holtby?

the problem with upgrading Williamson as a squad cb is finding a better cb who's willing to be patient and sit on the bench, not easy or cheap.
