Odd one that, wasn't a lot of the rationalisation on their fan's part for selling Hall that they had him and Potch potentially rated him more. Does that just leave them with Chilwell who's injury prone, and Cucurella who's shite and who they were trying to offload to Man U?

No coverage of the Brighton game last season?

They’re awful. Anyway, they actually going to bother to announce this, or just continue to tag up the city?

Aye, I think an 'easy' group where people would be expecting us to go through would be a nightmare. Nee expectation now beyond just enjoying it for what it is. Nobody's got any hope of us winning it this year, so not sure why anyone would hope for anything other than the biggest possible ties we could get and to just enjoy it for what it is. We could've got an unspectacular group, still gone out early without playing anyone of any note and the whole thing would have been a massive damp squib after 20 years away. Even if we get third in that group I imagine most of us will be over the moon. -

Just clocked the first game is a fortnight on Tues/Wed man, just had in my head it'd be about a month or so away despite seeing the fixture dates previously. Bring it on! -

Convinced this draw format leaves it open to being fiddled. Just whack teams in the first available group, no way of proving what's in the unopened group balls. -

We'll be down to one of 3 groups once Arsenal/Man U are out aye? -
I think they look a little short on depth this year, although granted most their reserves are probably wonderkids.
-
Just seen on there the competition will eventually clash with the World Club Cup and they'd likely be forced to play a full team of kids in QFs if they get there as Liverpool did a few years back. Which means a) it's objectively not the best time to play them, but b) Pep might just be tempted to swerve it and play kids early doors anyway.
-
Aye, I'm far from against the draw tbh. Could not be fucked getting all the way to Wembley again only to have to play them.
-
I guess a 3rd round tie at home is better than bumping into them later on in the competition.
