We are strongly linked with Alba this summer, who's himself stalling his contract extension with Valencia. Completely different player though. Abidal's athleticism and versatility has been key for us (he was our fastest player last year), but he's indeed starting his slide. I'll prefer to keep him mind. Both Muniesa and Bartra play a similar role in our B team, although they don't have his athleticism and of course experience.

I think Onuoha would be a squad player for you with everybody fit. It would be a good player to have but not at 40k+ per week if true, and probably wants to be a starter wherever he goes. It's true it would help you a lot with your current predicament regarding injuries, but you don't sign players just for 3 months.

Good for him, I'm not happy of letting defenders go given how thin we are there, but Maxwell was a bit of a liability when facing any decent winger. Good player attacking-wise though. Always behaved like a pro despite not playing that much so I wish him the best of luck.
